Hoping to see the apps full potential
At first this seemed like a great app but then things went downhill. My wife tried to download and purchase one of the plans. As the organizer of my family group a verification email was to be sent to my email address for confirmation. This never came even after 3 attempts. We decided that I’d buy the subscription and she’ll use my credentials. Well, this developer does not allow sharing (which is fine) but no FAMILY sharing? So now my wife has to get her own subscription to do a tour with her sisters and I with her brother even though we’re in the same city? Won’t be subscribing past the free trial. Oh, and the verification email finally came after I used my email address to sign up. Convenient, right?
I have used these tours now on two continents. There are excellent. As much detail as paying a guide. My recommendation would be to take the tutorial on making your own tour and then combine various GPSmyCity tours to make it perfect for you.
Followed all directions to create route and says “invalid format”
Don’t use it, it’s a scam. The app is buggy and the paid version doesn’t properly work.
There is supposed to be a 3 day free trial with backup CC after that. I tried this app for 1 day, was not impressed and cancelled and still got charged $18.99 plus taxes. No one to call for support either.
I really enjoyed this app
Super helpful and easy to use. We used it in Malta recently and it was particularly helpful in Birgu. We took the Birgu Map and Walking Tour (one of the three cities across from Valletta) to navigate our way to the Inquisitor’s Palace and other sites. The navigation was great. It got us through all the curvy streets and kept us on track. The directions are great, the information about the sites was also extremely helpful and it was also great to have hours each location was open. I think you have put together a great, intuitive App with tons of great information.
This app made our trip! We used this app in both Tokyo (shinjuku and Shibuya districts) as well as in Kyoto. We loved it. The app offered curated walking tours of all of the districts as well as navigated us to them in the most efficient route possible. Once we got to each stop, there was an audio as well as written article explaining the significance of it which eliminated our need to take a tour and let us experience everything at our own pace. On top of the curated lists, the app also gave us a list of things nearby that we didn’t know about that ended up being some of our favorites. We were also able to create our own walks from the list and add our own destinations which the app would organize into an efficient walk. We really loved this app and are excited to use it in our upcoming trips to Nee Zealand and Australia.
Me and my partner travel a lot. With gpsmycity it made it easier. We enjoyed historical places, and walking/running around the city. Alex was so helpful in how to navigate the app. Can't wait to explore more cities here in the US and other countries.
