Thousands of self-guided walking tours and travel articles in 1,500+ cities around the world are included in this handy app. No need to hop on a tour bus or join a tour group; now you can explore all the city attractions on your own, at your own pace, and at a cost that is only a fraction of what you would normally pay for a guided tour.

The app is designed to be used offline so No Data Plan or Internet is Needed, and No Roaming either.

The app is free to download. Afterwards, you can evaluate the walking tours - see the attractions and use the fully functional offline maps included in each of the city walk guides, all for free. A small payment – fraction of what you would normally pay for a guided group tour or tour bus tickets – is needed for accessing the walk route maps and activating turn-by-turn navigation functions.

* Option 3. For $18.99, you will get access to all travel content inside the app and covers over 1,500 cities worldwide.
* A 3-day Free Trial is provided under each subscription upgrade offer. Your account will not be charged anything as long as you cancel the subscription at least 24 hours before the end of the Free Trial.

A must have!

The app is like having a local guide walk around with you. It’s very functional keeping you on track to the next attraction. It’s a no brainer not to purchase. You will not regret it!!

Great app

This is the best app I’ve ever used for touring other countries. I’m getting old and my eyes aren’t what they used to be. I particularly like the maps function. The color coding, compass and details are fantastic and it’s so easy to follow the route. The info on the various sights is also great. Lots and lots of detail for all the walking tours. Very easy app to use and I’m so pleased I found this for my trip throughout Europe. Couldn’t be happier!

Great App to get around a new city

Really loved this app. Travelling alone in Saigon and using the app to navigate the city was a treat. The walks were great with good explanatory detail. Great way to get to know and get around a new city.

Know what to see and how to find it

I was sick of using web browsers to find local attractions and being hit with pages of paid adds and no useful information on where to go and what to see. When touring cities GPSMyCity offers great advice on what to see and information on what you are looking at. It will give you a walking route and has a canny knack of walking a slight detour to pick up a great view or a special building or square you are glad you saw. I have used the app to tour Munich, Verona, Milan, Prague, Karlovy Vary and more. It was always useful. Do carry a spare battery with you as you will want your phone on all day to extract the information and guidance.

Great idea but crashes

This app is very useful, providing a great opportunity to casually follow a walking tour and take as long as you like to do it and be flexible for stops along the way. BUT extremely annoyingly crashes constantly, having to re-load constantly, even shutting down mid use. This negative borderline outweighs its positives, as it’s very frustrating to be constantly reloading every time you check your route or on getting to the location, find you e hit to re-load it again to read the fantastic info about it!! If that can be fixed, and EASY five stars, without doubt!!

Can not register after paying for a subscription. No feedback about why.

Save yourself some cash

On our recent travels we noticed innumerable tour groups walking along side us in our GPS my city tour. Checking the cost of these trips, the app saves you a lot of money. We love this App. Upgrade to get the off line version, so you don’t lose signal

An Excellent guide for city travel

Very close to 5 star for me as an easy companion for all the cities I visited in Europe over the past 7 weeks. Terrific sightseeing walks with maps and notes that work off line. Excellent travel information about places to see, things to do. Very useful and heaps better than lugging around a heavy book travel guide. Thank you GPS mycity!
