Download the app and click the ‘Register’ button on the login page.
Alternatively, you can register online at www.greatsouthernbank.com.au/ob-register, call us on 133 282 or drop into your local branch.
If you’re already registered for digital banking, simply download the Great Southern Bank Mobile Banking app and you’re ready to go. The first time you log in you’ll need your existing Great Southern Bank customer number and password. After that, you can save your details securely.

Great Southern Bank Mobile Banking provides the same high level of protection as our online banking service. To stay secure, we recommend that you:
• Keep your password and customer number secret
• Always log out once you’ve finished your banking

The app works great
As of Feb 2024, this app does what it needs to do and works fine for mobile banking. It could have more functionality to compete with other banking apps (commbank, nab, etc), but there’s nothing wrong with it and you can do everything you need to do (transfer, pay, etc). Their feature that lets you hide your savings from yourself is helpful, too. Not sure why there’s so many one star reviews!

hi, idk what to do because its saying i have changed my password when i know i haven’t, its not letting me reset it by the website, i called the number and they’re asking for a 4digit tax thing? idk where to find that 4 digit number ):

Worst Banking App!
Recently had to remove the app and install it again simply because they changed their name!
Still Buggy
This app even after the Feb 2021 update is still a woeful underperformer. An example would be its inability to remember your payees unless their name starts with the letter ‘A’. No seriously. Also, does not keep the history of your payments so good luck to you trying to show payments or tracking down a purchase.
Cannot delete payee or edit the information so if you entered payee information wrong and need to remove it then too bad you will need to enter a new payee and keep the old one which increases your chance for error.
It is not as functional as the NAB app.
Cannot open
This review is just for the current version of the app. After updating to the latest version the app will not open at all. It just crashes immediately.
