This geo restriction makes it impossible to use the app outside the UK.
The app isn’t even loading suggestions let alone journeys. I already saw the ticket options are not working for foreign travelers so I decided to get it only for time table and travel planning, but not even this is working. There are developing countries that have better public transportation apps than this one is!
This is by far THE worst app for tourists. I booked my tickets and can ONLY view them with this app. The app doesnt even work. I can’t even view my tickets on the website, because it doesnt work. That is a nightmare
Same issue as already reported. On a non-UK phone the App doesn’t let you log in due to “technical issues”. Thanks to the numerous comments here, I still have time to print my e-Tickets, instead of trying to get the app to work.
I tried the iPhone app but it does not work. I cannot log in, I get a message saying that there is a technical issue and I should check back later. Well, I tried for a few days now, still the same issue.

Simply doesn’t work, even if roaming in the UK. Should have zero stars.
It is sad that an app with a rather nice design is so badly designed on the software side. Searching for connections, I got errors. Buying a ticket, I got error messages. Adding my ticket to apple wallet, is an option, but does not work. To further annoy the user one is being regularly logged off the account. I recommend app testing, this is just really embarrassing for a large train operator.
I've had the problem since three months that I can not log into my gwr account, which works totally fine on the website. When you click app support you can only complain, but nowhere to turn for technical support. Saved at the wrong end. Will use Flixbus next time.
