Green Mountain Grills

Probably one of the worst apps I’ve ever dealt with. Just super glitchy don’t know what else to say. Very frustrating. When it works once in a blue moon, it is neat. That’s why I gave two stars. Otherwise I probably would’ve given it one.

So many issues with this app, that’s my first problem… But the fact GMG added fake reviews to boost their star rating is disgusting! That should be illegal, they’ve lost a customer over it! What a joke! I can look past issues if you have integrity! I can’t look past lying and deceitfulness!

I’ve had this grill for 3-4 years now and I must say, it smokes fantastic, but the connectivity is the worst. I was hoping the new app would fix this, but it doesn’t. I can never stay connected anymore. You guys need to come up with a fix for this or just quit selling grills with connectivity.

Nothing but connectivity problems and controls that don’t work. Going through the probe calibration is the last straw. Grill works fine… app is trash.

App disconnects from GMG, as others have mentioned, if it is not active the app stops and so dies my GMG. This means you can’t answer a text, take a call, or even let your phone lock When the app closes while the temperature is rising will cause the GMG to “pause”. It’s paused on me several times @ 98 degrees while connecting to it after it’s past the 0-1-2-3 cycle and it’s warming to 150. This is beyond useless, good thing Wi-Fi wasn’t the main feature I was going for

The Grill/App suffer from bad connectivity issues and the only way to resolve them is to reset the grill. Happens every time I want to do a smoke. Contacted their support multiple times and no help. Ok too if it, they won’t release their SDK so someone competent can build an app. Really disappointing from a supposedly premium grill company.

Does this company even care about its customers? Why would they even offer this useless app? It is completely non-functional :-(

The app is barely usable at best, why not work on it to make it the best! Where is the Apple Watch integration???? Your pushing people to traeger!

This app used to be okay at best, now it’s almost useless. Get continuous notifications that “Profile step ### is completed”. The number just keeps changing. Also, all steps of the profile show as completed as soon as the profile loads.

Constantly kicked from my WiFi and have to redo it each cook. Alerts are garbage as well.
