Grim Quest tries to blend tabletop RPG vibes, familiar dungeon crawling and roguelike mechanics, and a classic turn-based combat system into an accessible and entertaining package. Because of its attention to written storytelling, detailed worldbuilding and abundance of lore, Grim Quest can be similar to a solo Dungeons and Dragons campaign, or even a choose your own adventure book.
Grim Quest is a single player game and can be played offline. Dark roguelike with exciting gameplay
As a fan of dark fantasy games, I fell in love with Grim Quest’s world, which mixes lovecraftian horror with gritty medieval fantasy. Gameplay is exciting and dangerous, invoking feelings from Darkest Dungeon, Dark Souls, and other grim titles. I loved it, and support the designer towards more game design.
Simple and addictive
I downloaded the game thinking this will be one of dozens I would try and almost immediately delete but the more I played the more I wanted to play. I figured it was easy enough to pick a weapon and armor, but the characters background can have an influence on the game as well as the type of weapon or armor. I had several games where I was doing very well and was so concentrated on taking on the bad guys I didn’t watch my health that was a big lesson; Don’t think you’re invincible
Problem Bug
Every time I open the game now, all of my characters are back to the way they were the last time I went into the game. No change at all. It’s like I hadn’t played the game the last time. Please fix.

Could add a description of what the item does in recipes?? I don't know what I am making before I make it. 5 stars if you fix that

You can’t do a lot without unlocking the full game for 5 bucks.
I love it
It’s very fun and addicting to play, whenever I’ve got free time I log in to do a quest or two. It was a bit tricky at first but once I got the hang of it it was smooth. It’s as a RPG should be.
One of the best games I’ve ever played
10/10 writing and gameplay, I bought the full version as soon as I finished playing the free part. I can’t wait to play the prequel once I finish :)
Great Game- Worth the $5 paywall
A little like Oregon Trail with Eldritch beasts. Was bummed about the paywall, but if a cheapskate like me thinks this is worth it then heck, why not? I’ve already got more than 5hrs of entertainment. Math speaks for itself I guess. Slightly addicting tap to play game. It’s got Fantasy Lore, RPG elements, and a slight choose your own adventure book style.
