Found this rare gem on Google list on top iOS arcade games with controller support. Played this on my ipad pro 2018 with the goodness of using a PS4 controller. Perfect combination & i do hope the developer would create a sequel to this great game! Git gud casuls!

I stumble upon this title while browsing thru the app store. Under features: it says NO in-app purchases and the game was on sale cheap. I thought to myself why not? I’ll end up paying more than I should on those pesky free to play games anyways, that dumbs down your game experience in order to get more money from you. So I bought Grimvalor, and it’s really a great game. A souls-like metroidvania game which has a solid combat mechanics. The level design is creative full of hidden rooms and passages. Enemy design makes you think of combat and not to button mash. Loot and gears are fun in this game! Let me just say this: if the game devs are honest people who makes games because they love the artform of making a game. You have my respects and money. Playing a game should be an experience. Not a chore and be lied to and tricked to spend more money. To the Grimvalor devs, thank you for making a great mobile game and i hope to see this on PC soon XD. Keep up the good work!

I can’t complete the game because I died at the same time as I killed the ogre boss and now that quest is still marked incomplete and the game won’t let me progress any further 👎

The buttons feel so precisely put on the screen whereas in other games you have to constantly move things around they did them SO well in this game. Perfect difficulty, has provided years of enjoyment. Sorry for just now leaving my review.

This game’s combination of combat and movement is wondrous combination of fluidity, speed, and impact. I loved Swordigo back in the day, and this is a spectacular follow up.
