So slow

The router is great, the app is dreadful. So very very slow when carrying out the simplest of tasks

Decent router, poor app, poor support.

I have had a few issues with the towers not being responsive after a firmware upgrade, and app timing out. Support suggested reinstalling the app, which made no difference, so I eventually resolved it myself by rebooting all nodes. Secondly, app states my premium subscription has expired, which it hasn’t, and I have chases support several times now with absolutely no response. Will be ditching Gryphon after this.

Not bad but buggy

For what you pay it’s ok, but, buggy app and the browsing history doesn’t work with n my iPhone , sometimes if you log out the app and back in, you maybe get the current history , other times just “times out” , but you have to log out and in again to even get that far. Pointless having such a good router with a woeful interface

Waste of money and time.

The product is useless. It dies more harm then any benefit. You cannot control the internet leave aside malware and tracking. Even simple routes are better the gryphon. I tried everything which gryphon team suggested but nothing worked. Team keep you engaged by responding in 2-3 days to ensure you cross the 30 day period to return then router.

Rubbish

this app and router is made for control freak who have reached the final stage of Terrible Parenting™️ and should seriously reconsider having any more children in the future

What the f is going on

I have placed a firewall behind my gryphon and the router not only scans for open ports but triggers my adblocker and content filter but the problem is no device is connected to the router so the router is doing it all on its own. Don’t know if it’s because I don’t have premium but I don’t have it because the network threat detection wasn’t good.

Very configurable

I love the many ways of being able to configure the router and the fact that you can set multiple types of accounts, all with their own set of rules.

Good so far

Have used Gryphon Connect for 9 months and very pleased with the experience. The App gives the user excellent control of their Wi-Fi, in what to allow, the ability to block and manage various settings. Support can be easily accessed which I have always found to be first class. Pleased with my Gryphon and I am glad in my choice choosing that pathway for my router.

New app same issues

Despite an app change and a firmware update, scheduling times and days is still borked. Have contacted developer with logs on 2 occasions and nothing was done. So at the moment, one of the most useful features of the router is actually not working. Also please change the design language of the app to be more intuitive. At the moment it’s really hard to use !!

Disappointed

Really disappointed with this router. The screen time management which is the most important feature doesn’t allow you to set times for the internet to switch on and off. When you set a schedule it doesn’t work and it sets something random. I’ve spoken to tech support who just can’t grasp it. Could be a great product if it wasn’t for a glaringly obvious fault.
