The App extends the standard functionality with its own alarm mechanism, in which you can configure reaching, predicting the glucose limit and no readings from the service.
In addition, it is possible to set the application to run in the background, thanks to the playback of the standby sound, which will turn into an alarm when necessary.

Much better than Carelink, great graphics
Was using Carelink, but found too many dropouts and ‘unable to connect’. Bizarrely, this actually connects when Carelink isn’t working (most of the time). Previous ‘reauthorise’ issues have now been fixed so the app is perfect for my needs !
Better than Carelink, but needs reauthorising frequently
Was using Carelink, but found too many dropouts and ‘unable to connect’.
Bizarrely, this actually connects when Carelink isn’t working (most of the time).
The only slight downside is that I have to ‘reauthorise’ quite frequently which means my watch doesn’t sync. If that could be fixed, it would be fantastic.
Works better than Carelink Connect
I’ve found it much better than Carelink Connect. It seems to hold connection better, it has more adjustable alarms, it works with “Hey Siri” and also has a Widget. All good. Thanks- it helps us monitor our child’s diabetes.
Clever idea but massive failing
Hats off to the developer, but their hands are tied by Medtronic’s closed loop. I believe the app syncs with the data being provided to your Medtronic online account so it has two massive drawbacks:
1. It drains your phone battery massively as its constantly trying to sync.
2. As it’s getting the data from online it’s delayed, so although you have an idea of glucose it’s probably 5-10 mins behind
If both can be fixed I’m define you in, and would happily pay for it, but as of now I can’t use this app
Outperforms Medtronic
Very impressed with this app. The official Medtronic software doesn’t have any Apple Watch functionality. This has been so useful and I would strongly recommend it!
