Fully support KML/KMZ files exported from Google Map!
A hidden GEM. Work like a CHARM! PROS: 1) POIs created under Google Map (My Map) can be exported to a KML/KMZ file using the feature “EXPORT TO KML”. After that, the file can be imported correctly by Galileo. Surprisingly, polylines are imported with exactly the same colours as you see in Google Map (although Google Map’s icon style is ignored). I have tested the import feature several times and it showed no bug at all. 2) The sync is working correctly and speedy although the first attempt was sluggish and took a long time. 3) The offline map download is smooth. 4) The zoom in/out is fast and smooth with no lag. 5) Different icon styles can be set in bulk during each import. After that, icons can be changed individually too. 6) You can rename the POIs and drag/relocate it after importing from Google Map. 7) You can turn on the GPS tracking mode and it will automatically draw out your track. Saving you time to draw it yourself. 8) In version 3.7.3, sub-folder feature is added and it works wonderfully. Just remember to select NOT to combine multiple collections when importing KML/KMZ* files (you will be prompted). * Galileo does not support individual icon styles. So KML or KMZ files make no difference. 9) Small size. Version 3.7.3 is only 48Mb. CONS: * Hopefully based map opacity can be adjusted and reduced so that POIs and names can be viewed clearly.
