How much does Gym Life cost?
Gym Life has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is £12.74.
I’ve been subscriber for maybe 4-5years, and it is great app, but there’s still so much to improve.
Things we need:
More exercises
Website, so you could quickly create workout
Phone and Apple Watch full connection when in workout
Better adding of exercise (when searching and ticking the exercise, you can’t search for another one)
Overall great app, but messes up health data
I've been using the Gymlife app for quite a few months now and enjoy how the app works on the Apple Watch and iPhone.
However, I occasionally forget to safe the session after the last set is completed and if I come back the next day and hit Save then, it messes up all my health data, resetting my calories for the day (and any day in between workouts).
Also, if a workout is saved in the watch, but the iPhone app is not opened right away, but later that day or the next day, the workout minutes are updated to include the time between the workout and when the app was opened. For example I worked out last night and recorded the workout on my Watch, just opened the app now to plan my workout for today and now my Apple Health data shows that I have 855 workout minutes today (yesterday's workout minutes remain untouched though).
Please fix these issues, as it really makes me reconsider and I started looking at other apps, but none seem to have a good a watch app as Gymlife.
Membership not working
Got the subscription of this app though their partner and not working
keeps asking to rate
keeps asking to rate
Lacks expected function to record reps and weight
Waste of time using this as does not allow recording of weight and reps for each set. Impossible to track progression properly with this app. Shame and needs to be added as an update by the developer.
Ok we get it, you want us to subscribe
any time you press any button, an ad for a £60 subscription comes up - which isn’t worth it.
Shame considering it used to be a good app.
Keeps asking for reviews
Really, this needs to stop
Waste of money! Fails to save 30% of the time.
When every two or three workouts it fails to save any data/the workout!! What is the point of using this! You’re not getting another penny from me! You stole my money. If you’re charging a small fortune for an app make sure it works!
Help pls
I have no idea how to use this app and it’s my first time trying to find a workout for me in the gym, are there any tutorials on how to best utilise the app as I’m so lost but I wish I could use it
Amazing App
I’ve been looking for an app which allows me to build my programme with time intervals, sets and reps for so long, and I can safely say this is the best I’ve tried to date.
If the developer could add the ability to duplicate folders, with all workouts therein it would be a significant improvement as I have a programme which has around 30 foundations and 5 specialisations, which I swap around from time to time.
