Yes, GymBook is free to download, however it contains in-app purchases or subscription offerings.
Is GymBook legit?
✅ The GymBook app appears to be high-quality and legitimate. Users are very satisfied.
Thanks for the vote
How much does GymBook cost?
GymBook has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is $5.39.
Finally a workout log without a stupid subscription. Just a nicely featured log that doesn’t assume you are a moron (plate counter anyone). Just knocking 1 star off because I can’t get it to track calories without wearing my Apple Watch. Using power blocks with the watch is nearly impossible. Otherwise perfect!
I have tried many . . .
I have tried many apps, Gravl, Fit Bod etc. and others. Gym Book fits my needs perfectly, I can add exercises, it doesn’t try and sell me anything, it doesn’t use battery with flashy lights and videos. I want a distraction free exercise, with logging and this is perfect!
I love it!
Is so easy to use and very helpful!! The simplicity makes it perfect!
Cant do without it
Have not used it to its full potential and love it for all it’s shown me so far. The only workout app I haven’t deleted over the years. Thanks guys, am upgrading today!
Great workout app
I honestly really love this app and has been amazing to use but some of the features I think would be nice would be having the ability to copy previous work and adjust them to become a different workout of the same areas
Perfect for Logging
App is maintained by a great and feedback driven team with emphasis on consumer satisfaction. Logging is simple and easy with many workout options for a reasonable price.
An amazing app, easily worth 5x its price
This simple, easy to use, and clean product is one i highly reccommend to all! no nonsense pricing that forgoes the bulky subscription process. You can tell the creators really put time and thought into its design.
Solid
Great workout tracking app and the exercises are relevant.
Almost Perfect, Just Needs a Little More Muscle
GymBook is like that friend who always shows up to the gym on time, tracks every set and rep, but still wears the same outdated tracksuit from 2010. Don’t get me wrong—I love this app. It’s one of the few fitness trackers out there that doesn’t try to sneak in a subscription fee like it’s an extra set of burpees. Pay once, get the good stuff, and you’re set.
The app has helped me stay on top of my workouts, and I appreciate that the developers are keeping it fresh with updated workouts. But… can we talk about the interface? I get it, scrolling to adjust weights is fine if you’re going from 90 to 95 lbs, but what about those of us who like to switch it up? If I’m cycling from light weights to Arnold-level iron, scrolling through a wheel that goes from 90 to 300 lbs feels like doing a marathon on leg day. How about an option to manually input the weight, so we can actually focus on lifting instead of spinning a digital Price-Is-Right wheel?
All in all, GymBook is solid. It’s my go-to workout buddy—just wish it didn’t make me work so hard to switch weights. Come on, developers, throw us a bone (or a dumbbell) here!
Better inputs
This app looks like it has everything I need and I'm going back through to add old work outs. Can there be a better way to input dates and weights/reps. Especially the weights/reps, it's be much easier if I could type in the weight for the set.
