Best gym app out there. No weird goals or intrusive systems. A perfect and simple replacement for your notebook
I love the iOS and watchOS Interface. The polished UI and functionality shows how many detailed thinking the developer has put into the product.
If you travel a lot as I do you will notice that it is rather difficult to track gains with this app, because all data will be tracked in different time zones and won't be included in the graphs together. So you either stop tracking data for your workouts abroad or change time zone manually. I did the latter, which is a proposal from developer, but I find it very risky (f.ex. I can miss my flight if I forget to change the time zone back). And i guess if i move to a new time zone- all my data will be stuck in the original time zone foreover. This needs to be solved.
This is the best gym log app out there.
I have tried many fitness app to support my weihjt training regime, but Gymbook beats the competition hands down due to versatility, support, Apple Watch support and price! Highly recommended!
I can never remember how much I lifted when training, but because how easy this app connects with my Apple watch, it have never been easier than now. I can see which exercises and how much I planned on lifting on my watch and even change the amount on my watch. It might seem very simple but I feel like I tried a lot of apps already without any luck. Besides all that, it also gives me a lot of inspiration when planning my strength training programme. I look so much forward to when even more exercises will be added :D
I spent the entire bloody Saturday looking for an app that would let me do exactly what I need. I installed and uninstalled probably 20 apps that promise a lot and, as promised, deliver so much you bloody get lost in them, annoying ads included! Please forget 10000 suggestions. We already know how the gym works and how to work out! All we need is THE app that simply lets you log what you do in the gym, so that by the end of your program you have not more and not less than just what you want: DATA. Simple to input, quick, beautifully graphed, easy to learn. GOLD at the end of your stint! So you bloody well know what to do, where to improve on your next X week workout. Thank you, thank you, thank you...
Best gym app I have tested
Super app for tracking your workout. Easy to use, nice functionality, and a good looking interface. I find it a bit hard to figure out how the timer (timers) work. They feel a bit “messy”. But apart from that everything is super cool. And ABOVE ALL. No social media b.s and constant poking to get you to buy subscriptions :-).
