Habit Rabbit Reviews

Limited and Distracting

DJ Mitëk on

The app is cute and simple, which I like. Complexity takes attention away from the point - tracking habits. However, the app did not give a tutorial to move through it and I found myself experiencing a steep learning curve with all the unlabeled icons to access checklists and habits. Also, right out of the gate, after the app made it clear that the game is to collect carrots by completing tasks and reinforcing good habits, it gave me a hook of watching ads for carrots. This is offered 3 times a day, offering double or triple rewards if done more than once consecutively. This feels totally counterintuitive and absolutely distracting. I want to do beneficial things in real life to earn rewards, not distract myself with mindless ads. There are also short ads built into the app, which I guess is ok since it’s free. Another issue is that you can’t set more than 1 high priority goal and no more than 3 medium priority goals in the free version. Not worth it, in my opinion. There are many others out there, Habitica being a really good option for one.

So cute and awesome

ads

i really like this app and am completely fine with the free version having ads, but there are SO MANY it makes it hard to use. a full screen ad pops up every 3-5 screen taps which just interrupts even trying to track my habits. i don’t mind the banner ad at the bottom, but it feels bombarding to have all of this at once in addition to the pop ups asking me to buy stuff. like every time i try to do something on here i get an ad and it feels like those virus scam websites even though i like the app :( i don’t think i’ll use it anymore

Not for me

alnima14 on

This application is not for somebody who wants a simple Habit tracker. It is more of a game, and you get rewarded for completing your habits. The interface is a little difficult to navigate at first, and the advertisements are lengthy and annoying. I can see the benefit of this application, but it’s not a good fit for me. It’s already challenging to keep up with my habits, and this application would make it even more difficult because it has too many steps to learn.

✨I love habit rabbit it’s such a fun app to help me get motivated everyday and helps me get things done like cleaning my room or doing homework but there is some issues , every time i go into habit rabbit it asks me to buy something which is kinda annoying and also I don’t understand why the Energy goes down like really fast but otherwise habit rabbit is a really great app ☺️✨🎀

Unusable

Voxcorvi on

The frequency with which the ads roll makes the app totally unusable. I don’t even know what its functionality is like. Frequency feels exactly like one of those scam apps.

Boring but good

Sisi_loves_toca on

I had habit rabbit for over 2 years it’s very boring but it’s heathy for tracking heath and chores it’s very sad you have to pay to be on the leaderboard me and my family was so sad we didn’t pay but it won’t let us do anything the only way we get carrots and energy is by watching adds and subscribing it’s not fair we have to pay they said it was free we are out of carrots and energy we can’t do anything now but soon I hope it will be fixed in the future.
