Overall some fantastic design. I just updated to io18.1 and it will NOT save items i set to repeat on a monthly date (such as bills). I've tried multiple times and they keep resetting to "today / anytime" It's been over an hour and still not working. Truly bizarre. ALSO: There NEEDS to be a place to view different tasks/ events as chronological lists. LIke you can even in the first days of Apple and Google calandars you can click and unclick which categories we want to see show up - so we can choose to view everything in a list or on a monthly or weekly calendar or we can view different combinations of these subcategories : a. daily repeating / anytime tasks b. monthly tasks c. one time tasks It's so stupid I see all these random events that facebook or google adds like acquatinance birthdays or community events I'm not interested in but I can't click on them to make them go away. Come on now. This is basic planner type stuff! If this doesn't get fixed in the next 3 days, I'm going to need a refund, because this app will be completely worthless to me. I need something that can do all these things, otherwise I might as well just have a bunch of different free apps that only do parts of these things.
The app can AI generate times/tasks for to do items. The AI suggestions were universally terrible for me, which I believe is mainly because anything I would use the app for is ill suited to being planned by an AI. Improving the quality of the AI would not make it much more likely to generate something useful for me. Since that is the case I want to completely disable the AI so there isn’t a button that will generate a bunch of garbage I have to deal with there that I could accidentally press. As long as the button is there I consider the app unusable.
I feel that it was not the best app it confuses me something that is a little better is something like Me+
Notifications need work. Checking off an item from my daily planner from within the app doesn't remove the persistent notification for that task. There needs to also be an option to send out a reminder alert/notification (with option to say how often) when a task isn't checked off.
Good
Has you create an account before locking you to a payment screen and no way to test the app out without doing a 7 day trial (requiring payment). Absolute scummy behavior.
I got excited about this app because the visual scheduling is so easy and enjoyable. I’m all about count downs and this is the only one I’ve been able to find that has a live activity count down which starts automatically. The interface is simple where it needs to be and more complicated in other ways. BUT for all the ease there are two very glaring oversights that make me not willing to extend use past the free trial: 1. If I have a number of events scheduled for “anytime” today and I have blocks of my schedule that are open why aren’t all of those activities suggested when I go to add an activity in the open time slot? Instead I get very limited options: blocks of focus time, or creating an entirely new activity, or. AI suggestions which seem to be utterly random and not helpful. Similarly, I should be able to drag tasks from the “anytime” portion of the calendar into open timeslots. These are such obvious oversights that I am unable to enjoy the app fully.
Super woke app
Easily one of the best timer, focus, planning apps out there. I love the integration with Reminders and Calendar apps, so you never have to worry about forgetting anything across all your apps. The visual timer is a game changer for my ADD, and makes it a lot easier for me to keep my eye on the time. I love that it’s a subtle in-the-background app, but still prominent enough with good widgets on the Lock Screen to be useful and consistent. My favorite part is all of the educational and training. Resources to learn more about neurodivergence and focus tactics. This isn’t just an app with no face, these are real people and it’s very easy to contact and chat with support team and trainers. It feels like an authentic community.
