Handshake Jobs & New Careers

I used handshake to apply for and land a job months ago but the app will not let me add my new job title. Please fix this issue.

I use handshake to look for work, not to watch academic influencers. There is no reason to have a social media feed on a job platform. Congratulations on your graduation, and kudos to your good grades. Tell your friends and family, post it to tik tok, or FB, but keep it off my job search, or give me an option to mute the feed permanently.

This doesn’t even allow anyone without a .edu email to register. The job market is hard enough, but because I went to college 20 years ago I am not provided the same chance as people with no real world experience?

I get so many messages from recruiters outside of my area. When I reach out to them they also say that handshake could improve this as the location doesn’t come up for them or isn’t filtered accurately.

Terrible navigation and tons of bots garbage app

This app across many months and several bug updates has always been unusable for me. I literally can’t see anything useful. No job listings, no what I’ve applied to, not my profile nor my notifications. I don’t understand how I’m consistently unable to use this app on IOS

Online version and app are buggy, unresponsive, and pretty clunky designs… much prefer LINKEDIN. Cool concept, but I feel the design falls drastically short of expectations.

Handshake lets anyone recruiter message you. For example, i have a CS degree and i constantly get messages about Walmart like companies looking for a general manager.

wont let you open links locally. I want to send the link to my laptop to apply as my resume etc is there. no way to share links at all. terrible app
