Description
The HandyRecorder app allows you to record high-quality audio with your iOS device. Use it with a ZOOM iQ series mic, which are designed to capture audio of the best quality with iOS devices, and record using the high-fidelity linear PCM and space-saving AAC formats. This app includes normalize and divide functions that can be used on recorded files. In addition, it has compressor, EQ and reverb effects. Moreover, you can directly upload your recordings from Handy Recorder to the iCloud and SoundCloud file-sharing site, allowing you to bring your creations to the world over the Internet.

-The operation screen was designed to simulate a ZOOM hardware Handy Recorder, so this app is as easy to operate as these products.

■File editing
-In addition to deleting files, you can use the divide function to split files at the point that you want.
■Uploading to Cloud Services
-The app includes a function that allows you to upload your recordings directly to the SoundCloud audio-sharing site. You can name your recordings and make sharing settings in the Handy Recorder app.
-iCloud drive is supported. Not only uploading selected file manually, but also “Auto Sync” function allows you to upload automatically soon after REC finished.

-By using the iQ5/iQ7 in MS recording mode, you can adjust the stereo width.
-Select from three iQ5's AUTO GAIN settings (CONCERT, SOLO, MEETING) according to the application.*
-Use the DIRECT MONITOR function to monitor the input signal through the headphones jack on the iQ series without latency
-The left and right channels of the iQ series input signal can be reversed.*
*These setting are saved in the iQ series mic itself and will be applied when using it with other apps.

What the hell
This app gets updates every other year and that is exactly how it looks and feels. So many essential features are missing...I don't even know where to start. Even basic things like naming of files is not possible or quickly editing the beginning or end of the recorded file. And above all the app looks like from 2008. This app is a shame for a well known company like zoom.
Acceptable… not more
Usage is a bit unclear and often confusing. It’s unclear why zoom deliberately doesn’t support standard iOS sharing so i can send my files to dropbox. Supposedly the pro version can do that? But i don’t see why i should pay extra money for a basic feature for using a hardware that i already paid for. Also unclear why developers dont think of a proper naming scheme that will work when using the software and zoom mic on multiple ios devices… why??? :(

Mit dem neuesten Update kann ich leider nichts mehr aufnehmen. Das Mic zeigt mir ein Signal an. Es wird aber in der App nicht aufgezeichnet.
Please Add Bulk Upload
It could be the swiss-army knife for convenient recording of samples on the go. If there wasn’t the absolutely cumbersome usability. At least you can send files via email. But it needs to be done with 1 file at a time. It is 2020. At least add a function of selecting multiple files to send and Dropbox integration. That would be bliss!
Nicht gerade High-End aber es funktioniert
Mit der upload-Möglichkeit zu iCloud jetzt halbwegs brauchbar. Aber: deutliche Knackser in der Aufnahme. Tip: Aufnehmen im Flugmodus, dann geht’s.
Nicht zu Ende entwickelt
- Keine Export via Airdrop, oder Dropbox. - kein Abhören der Aufnahmen ohne Kabelkopfhörer (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) -Bedienung umständlich -kein Kompressor während der Aufnahme
Altbacken und feature-frei
Das Zusammenspiel mit dem aufsteckbaren Zoom Mikro funktioniert. Immerhin. Die Bedienung ist nämlich echt umständlich. Es gibt leider noch nicht einmal eine Verbindung zur Dropbox o. Ä.! Hey Zoom, it's 2019!!!
Update?
Könnte ein update gebrauchen. es ist ziemlich verwirrend, dass man auf „create“ klicken muss, um ein File per mail zu versenden statt mit einem Klick auf das Email-Letter-Symbol.
