I have been using the mic and app for some time now and in the beginning it worked quite well. More recently it is impossible to record anything. The noises are non stop and no matter how many time I try to restart recording, the sound keeps full of interferences. Updated the app but it did not change anything.

App is nearly perfect, I would give it 5 stars if you let me select multiple files to upload to iCloud instead of having to upload each one individually. Apart from that it’s great.

Can’t say how happy I am for the new version of the app. They solved one big issue (Bluetooth / wireless headphone connection) and the new interface for the file share has been improved. I would suggest to try to squeeze in an improved sharing experience to send files directly via WhatsApp or Telegram.

I initially started using I zoom lightning port microphone with the Apple voice notes application, but thought that downloading the official Zoom Handy Recorder app would give more control.It turned out to be a complete waste of time, recordings had more noise and hiss and despite trying many different settings were unusable. Just stick with Apple voice notes and save yourself the hassle of this unusable app.

Not sure why the negativity but.....I already use Zoom hardware (recorders and drum machine) and love them. After trying loads of recording apps and finding that most either charged too much for too little or did not provide what I wanted i.e. small in size, effects, and an export facility that wasn’t the Cloud or Soundcloud, I settled on this. It’s like coming home to mama zoom - it feels incredibly familiar. It records really well and is straightforward to use - just like the Handy Recorders. My only gripe (which is minimal) and hence the 4 stars because it seems easy to programme, is that I don’t have info about the file size until I export. Apart from that it’s a great little app. I need it to demo songs on the go. It’s a step up from most voice recorders, gives you recording options and effects that work. What else do you need?

Always wanted to use this app more, as quality is good, and it’s one of few apps with decent effects, but was frustrated at poor soundcloud integration. Latest update has iCloud upload, which works great. Now my go-to app

The update is all fine Thank You Apple was simply asking me to update my payment details because a card had been renewed. _____________________________ Just for the record, this was my previous review: Highly suspicious of this update Is it an error ? ... or has the developer been hacked ? Identified only as 'in preparation' it then asks for my payment details!! Not likely

Will not record anything with iOS 12 on either iPhone 7 or iPhone 8.

Downloaded with new purchase of iQ6. As others have remarked, this Zoom app opens and menu items operate, but crucially it does not actually record any audio. Failure. Fortunately, the iQ6 hardware is fine. I’m using iOS app, Griffin iTalk, for my recordings.
