What a App my man it’s seriously good and in india we still require the maps to update more as other reviewers had said it, the attention to detail and the way it works is really great , except it does have a bit of a performance issue on my iPhone 8 , it’s just that the auto map zoom lags , rest all are great Just one thing , update the maps for india

Today, I gave it a shot for the first time during a 60km drive. I'd say it's a decent app, but it could use some enhancements, especially for CarPlay integration. Here are the issues I encountered during my drive: 1) The voice alerts were too quiet compared to the music playing, making it hard to hear the navigation prompts. 2) The app automatically started playing the radio, which I don't use. 3) The speed indicator didn't display speed consistently. 4) The map appeared too zoomed out. Overall, it served its purpose for my test drive, but I'll stick with my usual map app for now.
When every I switch to 3d maps turns very sluggish and jittery

I drive in Germany. I used to be a fan of this app. Now I have switched to waze and Amigo as they offer option drive without a destination mode. This was available in the previous version of here maps from Hamburger Menu —> Drive. I have been a long time here maps user but the alertnative apps have become much better. In case you plan to add the feature back, I will be happy to switch back to Here We Go. But for now Here I Go (away)
Simply because it: 1. Respects user privacy unlike Google and other American cos. 2. Offers offline maps that work just as good without internet. 3. Offers voice navigation. 4. Offers traffic insights and speed alerts. 5. Well-thought user interface and well-designed maps. What can make it better: 1. Collections feature should not require a Here account. Allow users to bookmark and save specific locations on their device itself. Offer Here account to sync and save this data to the the cloud and multiple devices. 2. Needs a "Railway mode": Even though Here maps has railway networks mapped, it cannot detect when I am travelling by Indian Railways even if I specify my source and destination as railway stations. If the user is allowed to switch to a "Railway mode" Here maps can show the user the railways network on the map and alert them (by voice or notification) whenever the next railway station is about to be reached. 3. Maps need to be updated more frequently in India. We've added more than 50,000 kms of new roads and many cities now have Metros too. But Here maps has been slow to update these in my country. For example, Here maps still doesn't have information on Metro stations in Bangalore (KA, India) and Kochi (KL, India).
The place where this app is winning for me is how crisp and how detailed their maps are and they provide 3D renders of various infrastructure in India which Google Maps and Apple Maps have been lacking even after having presence in India for so long. The only part I felt a bit let down was updating the map data on a timely basis because many things shown on Here We Go maps does not really exist and seems like they didn’t update it in last 3 years or so to say. If they work on this then this app deserves a definite 5 star rating.
I love it.
I am using here maps since i was using windows & now on ios. Surfer dude voice was the best…please get it back or else uninstalling it
