Superb all the essentials lovely views

Good for finding campsites but couldn’t book despite campsites saying they have an instant book feature.

Fantastic hosts Michal,Gosia and their boys. They could not do enough for us. Hillside Meadows near Inverness is a little piece of Heaven on Earth. Nestled at the bottom of a hill surrounded by hedgerows, each pitch and there’s only four at the moment is edged by beautiful grass meadows. No showers, compost toilets, no EHU. Fire pits and wood can be provided. If you’re wanting total rest and recuperation and at one with nature this is the site for you. We will definitely be going back. Thank you Michal and Gosia.

Absolutely loved my stay in Ettie, what an astounding haven of tranquility. Beautifully appointed, exquisite quality bohemian chic furnishings throughout. A feast for the senses. Everything and more that I had hoped for. Divine food and wares in the on-site cafe. The most gorgeous shop with all things boho/chic/eastern. I bought some beautiful one off pieces. The hosts very generously and thoughtfully gifted me some fragrant items and also some divine pink velvet cake (I was celebrating my Birthday) The Best site I have had the pleasure to experience and one definitely I will book again and recommend. Thank you 🙏

Desperately needs an iPad app

Booked a glamping stay next year for the Eclipse. The booking said instant confirmation and payment was taken. The owner contacted me within 10 minutes to say Hipcamp should not have confirmed it as it was not available. She was very apologetic but said it definitely could not be booked. This was on 5th May, on 7th I still had not been refunded so I contacted the owner asking for her to get Hipcamp to refund. It’s now 10th and still nothing. Not impressed at all and I’m over £600 out of pocket

Just downloaded this for forthcoming trip to Spain. With very open criteria it produced just 5 sites for the whole country. Checked my local area here in the UK which I know very well, and of the very many local camp sites available it produced just 3 which I know to be of mediocre/adequate quality and most definitely NOT hip. Have now deleted the app.

Helped us discover places nearby that we never knew existed. Easy to navigate and provides all the information needed to prepare for our getaways.

Two campsites with enough room to spread out. Very handy for visiting the area. Redondo beach is a short walk away. Shared picnic table and fire pit with firewood. Nestled in a green belt with level area of gravel to park on. Porta potty was quite clean. Just off the highway, but the sound is not loud or bothersome and near silent at night. The horse stables next door are close but not too close. Their rooster topped off the scene with his occasional crowing. Birds of many feather frequent the brush and keep watch from the trees singing as they hunt and peck.
