The latest update doesn’t let me connect to the hub since I installed the latest app
Ever since they have changed the app, it’s been completely unreliable. I have to restart the hub and wifi router every 3-4 days as the app is not responding and the hub it trying to reconnect to their system. Online support has limited availability and when talking to customer service, only solution is to turn off and disconnect the hub and router.
Fit the Widget.
Love the app - loved the widget but with ios18 no longer available - Any chance of fixing it for use again 😅
My issue is with the new app. On the dashboard it doesn’t show whether the hot water is off with schedule active( it just shows off for both “off” and “off with schedule active”). The older app did.
Please give an option for existing users not to have to use this new app interface. The old one was so easy to see everything at a quick glance . Why do developers constantly seek to Reinvent apps which are functioning fine. Absolutely awful update
The app has always been buggy for us since August 2023. The charger/app frequently appearing offline, which has required a power cycle then hoping the app and charger connect. At the end of Jan 2024 we simply couldn’t use the app, and therefore couldn’t charge the car. Version 11.6.2 consistently displayed a message when we tap on the charger (which shows as available): “We’re sorry, something unexpected has happened”. We tried power cycling the charger, deleting the app, trying the app on different devices, etc. Getting through to support is very difficult, the number given connected to British Gas, +44 333 202 9514. HIVE then confirmed our account did not migrate successfully, which was the fixed, but the reliability of the app/charger remains. Hive recommended we try connecting our charger to our home WiFi, to see if the cellular connection was at fault. This ultimately didn’t remedy the issue as the app/charger still fails to be reliable. Simply put, we cannot trust the Hive app/charger to work.
I’ve used the Hive for years and it’s was Amazing. The recent changes which include new look have made it unworkable. In its current state I would not recommend
There is other modern solutions you can go for Minusie for sure it’s gps no more for this And for everything else you have to pay wtf pay for rely everything:(
I've been using this app for a few years now. It could do with a few tweaks 1. Timer intervals of 15 minutes are too restrictive. Have an option of X minutes. 2. Likewise with the temperature. An option of .X degrees would be great especially when you live with one person who is hot and another who always feels cold. 3. The house can drop in temperature by varying degrees depending on the outside temperature during the night. We don't like having the heating on while we sleep as it gets too hot. Have an option of .X degrees above the current temperature is all that is required in the morning before heading out. Sometimes all we need is a blast of warm air to compensate for the difference in temperature under the duvet to that of the room temperature when we get up. I did look for an email to make these suggestions to Hive but all you seem to have is FAQ.
