This app updates regularly and allows you to add numbers that you identify should be blocked!

Most recent updates the app states you can block area code and prefix on iPhone. Completely false. Nowhere in the premium app does it let you do this. The Hiya false advertising saga continues… Hiya do better.

It doesn’t block the majority of spam calls. You have to manually copy/paste the number to see if it’s “suspected spam” and choose to block all future calls from that number. Not super helpful since they usually call from different numbers. I’m not totally sure why it gets such rave reviews. Maybe only the paid version actually blocks things without all the work on the user end.

Paid for a year subscription but I’m deeply unimpressed so I’ll probably cut my losses and try something else. Spam Calls still come through on your call list, so it’s really no better than a do not disturb setting.

I have been using this app now for many years. When I first started using it the App was not really bad , but I can’t say everything got blocked and it was a 100% useful tool! Because it wasn’t, but I hung in there and over the years it has gotten better and better. Why because the Technology kept changing and as it did the fight to combat the Crooks got stronger and I could see on my end that I was not getting the Bad calls from Telemarketers and people who wanted to steal my money and identity if I was stupid enough to give them the opportunity! So now HIYA has gotten to the point for me I seldom get those calls now Days. Oh I still get one now and then but the Crooks are not stupid they change their number as fast as you can blink. But the Technology of this app has gotten for me where the number change is being picked up and blocked! I wish I could go back to a phone book or an operator or just being able to pick up the phone and answer it when it rings. But those Days are gone never I hate to say will they return. But my Friends Hiya has really put out this Unique Outstanding Design App to Protect all of us. So Hiya I Tip my Hat 🎩 to you for creating a 5 Star ⭐️ app through all of these years. Does not block calls 97% of the time

Unfortunately this app did not work. After downloading this app I still received 8 spam calls back to back, and the day isn’t over yet.

I paid for the services so I could find out who was calling. I wasted that money. I get one name out 20 phone calls. No name available, suspected spam. Business line, personal line. That is so helpful - not!!!
