Who would’ve thought connecting to a dishwasher on your mobile phone would be anything to go by. We’ll, it’s pretty cool actually. How often I got things all ready and then forgot to turn it on. Now I access on my phone, set up the wash cycle and BAM! It’s done. Great little feature.
This app simply won’t connect to the dishwasher.
Ever since the new update the app doesn’t connect to my Bosch dishwasher
The version of Home Connect (I am still struggling to work out how/where to find out the version information) I downloaded and have been trying to use since Christmas 2022, is unhelpful and not of any use to me. I am using it with a Bosch dishwasher (SMS6HCW01A) and the connection between app and dishwasher is never maintained. Every time I go to connect to and control the dishwasher, the app states that it is either "connecting" or "not able to connect at this time" or words to that effect. In order to connect to the dishwasher, I need to remove the appliance, and re enroll the appliance as a new appliance and then it works. Until, the wash cycle finishes and shuts off, and then cannot and does not connect whether the appliance is switched on or off. This has to be the worst app I have ever tried to use.
