Simply unreliable
Tried this app as was recommended it and from the start I had problem after problem and for that reason I won’t be using it or recommend it. Shame as it looked promising but it just doesn’t work correctly.

I recently purchased a Homey Pro as my Homey Bridge was doing a great job and I was keen to begin migrating to Matter and Thread, plus there was a Pro app I was keen to try. However, only on installation of Homey Pro did I discover that there is no way to migrate my settings and flows in my Homey Bridge to my Homey Pro - I’m expected to do this manually. This is an obvious and major gap in the Homey offering and I am very disappointed - to the point that I am considering returning the Homey Pro. What makes me more miffed is that the incompatibility between Bridge and Pro is not flagged anywhere in the official Homey support pages. Only when digging around in the community pages do you find this out. Very disappointing. The products are good (hence 2 stars) but there is no upgrade path to benefit you moving from a Bridge to a Pro. Come on Homey - sort this out before more Bridge owners make the mistake of buying a Pro.
Probably fine but i would have thought that an immediate connect to zigbee should be priority without having to fork out on a. Bridge
A home automation system that quite simply works. It feels like the early days of computing and going from a PC (anything else you can use) to a Macintosh (Homey) suddenly you realise what can be done.
System too unreliable, I’m constantly having to add devices back in, seems Homey likes Static or reserved IPs, not DHCP on managed devices. Devices show as being available yet can’t be controlled from Homey. Work just fine from native apps. I spent a lot of time creating flows, which worked for a while and now do nothing. Unfortunately for me at least Homey is simply not reliable, I depend on security alerts and flows and them not working consistently just isn’t on. I have even reset Homey and added all devices and apps back in but with same results. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but I do not thinks so. Back to the native apps with limited automation capabilities but at least they work reliably. Such a shame as the concept is excellent. Update 13/7 - well I didn’t give up on the Homey. Sticking a £400 device in a draw irked me. So I reset it and added devices and apps back in. I also purchased the USB C Ethernet adaptor and now power the device from a UPS protected socket. So far so good. I’ve not had to add devices in repeatedly and so far automations are working reliably. Let see how it goes, as I say an excellent concept……
So I have been following homey for a while now, I thought I would start with the app and take the premium trial, I try to turn on the heating or turn a bulb on and it just keeps telling me premium is required, which I have, fix this please
Great Home automation Hub, interface for phone, iPad and web works well supports endless devices across home automation devices coming from Samsung SmartThings this is awesome
What’s the point of this app when you have the latest hub and the software just crashes. It’s unusable. It’s like it can’t handle over 40 switch’s of any kind.
Out of the box the bridge looks lovely, unfortunately the app draws a big graphic of the bridge over the set up dialogue and hangs there saying who knows what after a few hours and a forced reset the hub can be seen but says it is uncontrollable utter waste of money. When you try and contact support the support page for set up puts you in an infinite loop of sign in select a fault contact us sign in … pretty ui terrible testing glad I didn’t spend more on the pro the bridge was intended to see if this is the eco system for me, back to having ten apps and a messy set up instead.
Amazing piece of kit and improving every week with constant enhancements. The Advanced Flow is extremely powerful and easy to use.
