I LOVE LOVE THIS GAME

You might think you’ll never win 50/50’s, but in my whole TWO years of playing, I only lost TWICE. Story quests? They are actually INTERESTING! This game is so so so fun!!! Would recommend!

this is the best game i've played beside hi3.the writing was good,each characters have a different designs,culture!!Their side stories are so good!!really love the lore!!im so excited for cerydra and hysilens!!

FAVORITE GAME

Honestly I adore hsr mostly for the story but also because its super easy to collect, the only reason why I put it at 4 stars is the lack of events after a certain period so the game can get a little boring on the second banners because of the lack of stuff to do.

Pay-to-win end game

I don’t mind that I don’t have the twitchy relfexes to beat end game content in most games, but in a turn-based game, I’d think building out a few core teams should let you beat the end game modes. But no. You not only have to get the latest characters, you also have to invest thousands of dollars per month to build up the characters enough to beat the end game content before it expires and the new version comes out that requires a new team. It feels so futile to play knowing you’ll never beat it. Make it so the whales just get an easy pass and let the people who’ve spent years building up their teams have a chance. At least they let you skip the tedious dialog scenes in story mode now, so 2 stars. Update: still tedious and frustrating end game.

Why is the fate collab bad

The event starts off confusing, referencing something you’ve never seen before, which makes it feel like you missed a previous quest. The quest itself is weak, reusing old assets from earlier content instead of offering anything fresh — it feels lazy and like a cost-cutting move to make more profit. On top of that, the game is overly greedy with the limited-time crossover character. Normally, premium currency you’ve already spent on a different banner carries over to future ones, but here it doesn’t. This means any progress you made is wasted, pushing you to spend more money if you want the new character.

It’s not bad but not great

It’s free to play, but pay to win. Requires tons of hours and patience to be able to somewhat finish endgame content. If you don’t get the character you want, you have to wait a year to get them again, and by then they are already horrible in the meta. Story is good but gets super confusing if you don’t do every single side quest and study every letter of the dialogue. Fans are also very strange. I have 80+ hours on this game. Combat is fun, everything else is meh.
