I echo the reviews about the exorbitant fees (annual lump sum) debited without informed consent. I was debited $1998 for an annual subscription I attempted to cancel through multiple avenues within the trial period. It seems like the app has deliberately made it very difficult to cancel as I believed I had canceled yet still got charged. It is impossible to contact someone directly and I am very stressed to be out of pocket by this amount for a service I never used. A huge cost and amount of emotional turmoil for nothing. Be very careful when signing up for this app.
Takes 1hr to cancel subscription
Our startup just did a trial for a professional plan and saw heaps of value in the product.
We decided we wanted to pause the paid plan and come back in 2-3 months and try again and pay for it (as dont need the features yet). However, it was almost impossible to cancel the subscription.
After reading 3 x blog articles on how to end subscription, and all of it not working (including downloading the app vs web view) I ended up having to delete my account entirely and remove all the hard work we had done connecting accounts in case we wanted to use again, as could not change the subscription.
I am so surprised such a big platform, with other great user experiences, could make changing subscriptions intentionally so difficult (and wasting so much of my time).
Expensive Help
I was using Hootsuite for a while to do basic set up of posts on socials in advance for my small business. It ticked most boxes but unfortunately since they’ve switched to charging exorbitant amounts, it simply isn’t affordable for any of the little guys out there anymore. Such a disappointment.

800 dollars per year for up to 10 accounts? At least give me 100! A social media manager with 10 accounts can’t even eat
Keyboard Issues Since Update
Love this app but your latest update has rendered the IOS keyboard non operational. Please fix it because for such a useful app it’s ruining the experience.
This looks to be a scam app
Be wary downloading as this looks to be a scam. Almost impossible to use and free trial seems to trigger a $69 per month fee charged annually.

Have been using this app for years now and it’s fantastic! HOWEVER just went on the schedule a post and they wasn’t me to sign I up. That’s fine happy to pay for a good app. $69 A MONTH!!! You have to be joking!!!!!!! Lost me! Would have paid $10 or even $15 but $69 a month…………. Can’t even believe this.
Shocked
I was not even aware my account was active and got billed $400+ a year later! Trying to rectify this I emailed them only to realise they are extremely difficult to reach and have no email. No idea how to cancel the account and I went trough my apple subscriptions to make sure I didn’t fave any and never fount hootsuite on there! Just furious atm at the amount of money that was taken for a service I never used. Someone please contact me!
