$150 a month 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Laughably hubris and out of touch
To switch from free to £1000 per year for the entry level individual subscription option is out of touch with the everyday reality where most people live. For business? Over £8000 per year. Hmmm Essentially this company rests upon several free social media platforms in order to exist as a concept. Whereby you can then “automate your socials” I’m not sure how much money you’d need to have lying around to justify paying this as an individual. I see how some large business’ may think this is worth it, but for an individual? Surely for most people it would be easier: 1. Put all your social apps in a folder and post onto them one by one. Or 2. Use the free YouTube schedular to post content then use IFTTT to automate to all the other platforms 3. Pay for canva, which is ~£100 per year but now comes with a built in social media schedular and planner plus you get the best media content designer available. Something has gone seriously wrong with this company.
MUST have paid subscription to use mobile app
I have been using Hootsuite for the past few years to cross post to FB, Twitter & Instagram together for the charity I work with. Trying to do the same today (after app update) I now need a paid subscription account to access the app.
Subscribe or eise!
No warning, no friendly invitation, no explanation just a sudden you must subscribe to use after years of using it for free. Deleted and won’t use again. The owl is dead.
Incorrectly locked account
Every time I try to come onto the app, it is saying my account is locked when it is not - works great on my PC but is automatically logging me out on the app and the customer service team have not helped at all. Very frustrating and is making posting a story impossible - feel that my money is now being wasted.
AVOID- £2500 taken without consent
On Friday I logged into our Hootsuite account, received a message to say they would no longer offer a free service. I clicked an option to a pay a discount fee of £8.99 per month for the 'professional package'. On Monday I received an invoice for £2506.66(!) and the sum had been taken from our debit card over the weekend. Minimal response from the support team, no refund yet, and no number to call to try and resolve this. I assumed this was a larger, reliable and credible company. Please avoid.
Needs improvements to the basics
Very laggy, stuttery scrolling on iPhone Pro Max makes using this app very hard on the eyes - badly needs 120hz ProMotion support No multi-column support on iPad Doesn’t remember timeline positions even on one device, never mind syncing them between devices Not possible to click into replies to tweets, to follow discussions
It’s wrong
It says you can’t add images and videos in the same post on twitter when you literally can
Clunky, glitchy and not worth looking
Couldn’t link accounts, multiple errors and crashing experienced. Pointless waste of time
