Premium Notifications Are Excessive
I used to love this app, but lately the developer uses notifications as a form of marketing for their Premium Service. That is a “cry wolf” or false alarm. I am a commercial pilot who likes to keep up on tropical weather patterns around the World. So you can imagine how frustrating it is to get a notification weekly for their premium service. Annoying. So I turned off the apps notifications and then I wondered why I would even keep such an app. So I deleted it and use the free government services instead.
Great App.
Have used it since Sandy and its predictions have not let me down.
Paid upgrade is confusing
I paid for the upgraded graphics. Was emailed a confirmation with my user ID and password. There is nowhere in the app to enter a user ID or password and the app keeps promoting the upgrade that I already paid for. Using the “Contact” link in the app sends an email that is rejected with a “Mailbox full” error, but it actually goes through. Got a response from them saying that if you buy the upgrade in the app, then you’re automatically logged in. You can verify this by selecting the Premium tab. It’s all very confusing. As others have said, the content is great but the app is far from user friendly.

Highly useful for up the minute updates easy to use,sometimes its faster to use it than wait for the broadcast weather,I have no time for the joking and smalltalk!
Wanted to upgrade but will not use PayPal
I canceled my PayPal accounts and have no desire to do business with that company. Is there a way to upgrade without having to set up a PayPal account?
