HOW WE MANAGE TRUE-DEPTH FACE DATA

Hyperspektiv utilizes Apple's Augmented Reality APIs (specifically ARKit & TrueDepth) in order to provide filters that react intelligently to people's bodies. On newer devices, in selfie mode, this requires that we use ARKit's Face Tracking mode.

We do not utilize your True Depth face data, nor do we store it anywhere. The only data used is the outline of your body, so we can apply filters to it.

$$$ a month ? F*** off idiots !

Lose the sub model, add iPad version

Subscription models suck, period. Make it a one time purchase. Also no iPad version.... why? I would buy the app in it’s current state if I could make it full-screen with no menus or overlays as i use my devices live on stage with the HDMI adapter feeding into an NDI encoder. Until then it’s a big no from me. Close, but no banana...

Subscription models suck!

I’d rather just pay for an app, and do dlc every now and then for updates. Subscription for what? Bug fixing? You’re suppose to bug fix before you release. If the old crew was bought out, that’s fine, but if this is still glitchMob board members then.. it is what it is. I hate subscription.

This app could be so much

I like this app a lot but I’ll be letting my subscription lapse. I would have expected to see some changes to the app in the year I’ve had it but the only thing that changed was that all the presets I had made were gone one time I launched it and they never came back. There really needs to be an iPad version of the app and it would be a more powerful tool for creatives if you could add and mix the effects rather than having to hit random until something good comes up. I do feel like I got value from it (I’m a VJ and this was good to make lots of trippy clips with) but it is expensive for what it does and I feel that once I delete it I won’t be returning. Thanks all the same, it’s been a trip!

bit of a let down

I got this app hoping it still had the same mirror functionality as sparkmode and mirrorgram, but it definitely doesn’t. It’s no way near as intuitive. Such a shame as they were by far the best mirror apps out there - I still can’t find better.

USED TO GOOD. BUYER BEWARE.

Wow. You guys have actually made me feel nauseated with the latest update. You decimated the amount of filters previously available after paying full price for the app. And now you have the greedy audacity to introduce a subscription service? People will download your app, some will pay for a month or two. And then it will be abandoned. Especially by the people that supported you in the first place. You honestly make me sick and I know I’m not alone in my sentiments.

Rip off

Paid for app. Was able to export HD. UPDATES CAME OUT, now it’s asking me to pay again, a damned subscription this time...savage

Cool but...

Cool app but not worth the subscription cost. Had an earlier free version and updated only to lose some really interesting effects. Happy to buy at a one off fee if that ever happens.

Potential, but a waste of time

Can dish out some decent effects, but the fact that it gets an error and fails every single time I try to save a video on my 6S, even if it’s only 5 seconds long, makes it a bit pointless. Loading videos is problematic too, the app will freeze, and I have to minimise it, and go back in to make it load, again the video is only 5 seconds long. Seems to work with live still photos though, but that’s boring.

Retro but no

I get it, cash in on the melinials obsession with everything analog. I think your price is way off the mark. We live in a time of subscription overload, every man and his dog thinks they can get a subscription for their app. Fun for about five minutes but like apple photo booth not something you’d pay monthly for. Better off with Netflix if you want to subscribe to real entertainment.
