After using this app happily since 2011 when I bought it for c £20 I can no longer access it unless I pay more money. This certainly shouldn’t listed as free. Such a shame as it was a 5* app. Shame on this money-grabbing scam going down now. It’s like asking people to pay annually for a book they had bought.

I paid full price for access to this app in good faith. I am shocked to see that I will now need to subscribe to maintain the access that I’ve already paid for. How can this be legal ?
App is free reduced from £14.99 - but its not…
Reduced from £14.99 to free sounds great until i read its not free at all - its a yearly subscription of £8.99, so its not free. Too many app developers are jumping on this band wagon and want their customers to pay and pay and pay continually, not for me thanks i will never subscribe.
Very hard to navigate and frustratingly species missing like Brown Pelican
Very frustrating not to be able to find species covered like Brown Pelicans, for example
Beware This Is North America Only
I made the mistake of thinking that the Pro version was the full edition including the UK but it only covers North America, which ok is my fault, but after numerous emails to the Developers I have had not one reply, not one, thank you so much for your help in this matter you are just great at customer feedback!! Be warned you will get no input from these developers, £15 is all there interested in nothing else.
Very useful guide
I use the UK version which is great, and find this even more useful as so many birds here are new to me. Keep up the good work, this is an ideal use for phones and pads
A great birding app
I purchased this app in preparation for a vacation, having already used the iBird UK Pro. I love the layout, I find it easily searchable and filters help you search for specific locations and characteristics. I find the descriptions, drawings and photos really helpful with identifying birds in the field, and have used the song files to help verify what I am hearing in the wild. I’m very happy with my purchase.
No use to me
I anticipated a programme dealing with all birds of the world, not just the USA. This program is of no use to me
