I’ve tried many and landed on ice cubes. Really nice user experience and I really appreciate the ability to filter my feed.
I’ve tired so many Mastodon apps. Some are decent and fun but I always come back to Icecubes. It’s fast , it’s clean, it’s elegant looking and it’s all free. My only gripe is the “anonymous” telemetry. Read the privacy statement before using. Better than Facebook, instagrams, Xs or Bluesky but still it’s worth noting ..
This application offers a user-friendly and streamlined experience. The user interface is exceptionally clean and intuitive, providing ample customization options. The Mastodon experience on Ice Cubes is of the highest quality. I find that this application facilitates a more efficient discovery of posts, users, and instances compared to the official Mastodon app.
Only suggestion I would make is to add instance blocking into ice cubes, currently I have to sign into my host instance outside ice cubes to block another instance
Hands down my favorite masto app. Thanks Ice Cubes (Team?) for your hard work! Love the ability to customize and also love that there are no upsells / ads. Y’all rock.
The best Mastodon client available right now. The design choices all make perfect sense. With all the other clients, each has some type of design flaw that was really frustrating. Not this one. A+
I’m getting really sick of this app refreshing while I’m in the middle of reading a post. I am probably going back to Safari, but I’ll hang on for a little while in case it improves.
