A lovely finance app
I've had the apps on my iMac and iPhone for several years and am delighted. I've not subscribed to online banking.
It's a comprehensive personal finance app that includes share prices.
Syncing by iCloud is different, but it works. You close on one device, and when you open the app on the next device, you’re asked which version to use.
No longer works
Stopped working for iOS17
BEWARE OF DATABASE CORRUPTION WHEN SYNCING
iFinance 5, and its predecessor iFinance 4, are very fine apps - with one VERY IMPORTANT EXCEPTION.
Do not rely on the sync function.
In preparing to switch to a mobile office situation as i was about to travel for a month, i obviously synced iMac desktop with MacbookPro laptop, and iPad Pro devices.
The result was very sluggish performance on all devices - i mean a multiple-minute wait to get the transaction screen displayed - not just a few minutes, but 10 or 20 minutes! This renders the app essentially unusable.
After reaching out to Synium (Florian) there is nothing they can or will do to assist/fix unless i send them my database of transactions - well, that i cannot do for security reasons, obviously.
I eventually figured out that the syncing process made hundreds of copies of the file/s i had attached to my transactions (the actual invoices/receipts). In total this amounted to so much data that the app needed to 'acquire' on startup that the time delay was such as to make the app essentially unusable.
A solution is to delete the file repetitions but that is very tedious as the is no means by which to <select all> files and invoking a 'bulk' delete.
Another solution would be for Synium to provide some function to manage the repeated files - essentially this would be just reversing the creation of the replication that occurred during syncing.
Yet another possibility is to use another app - and this is eventually what Synium/Florian suggested.
In summary, SYNCING IS FLAWED and CANNOT BE RELIED UPON.
For heavens sakes, make a backup immediately before each sync and then check if your database is usable on each device immediately after each sync. That would be my advice to all you good folks. If you don't like that approach, get Synium to fix its app, or move to a more rugged and reliable software artefact.
Good luck.
The above is pertinent to April/May 2023 timeframe.

Where’s the legit update
App still in beta mode. Need some good updates guys
Well done! …
This would have to be one of the best pieces of software I own. Managing your finances and household budget is a breeze on all your devices including your computer, iPad and iPhone. The iCloud syncing is invaluable with modifications updating on all devices as they occur in real time. Congratulations and thanks to Synium …
