Be cautious
Be cautious when using the app as you cannot rely on the rates and risk being charged a significantly higher amount when arriving at the hotel. I made a booking using the app and received a confirmation in my email. Despite of that I was charged a significantly higher amount at the hotel. Although IHG customer care has apologized again and again and promised to rectify the situation and refund me - here 2 months after still nothing has happened. IHG will direct you to the hotel and the hotel to IHG. In the meantime you as the customer are in a situation where you simply cannot rely on rates in the booking confirmation.
