I have used the free version of this app for years. I recently upgrade to subscription as working life has got a lot busier and more complicated. My subscription was paid on 17/04 and I’m now locked out of all subscription features (19/4). ..
This means that all of those features I paid for are not usable. I’m sure this will be sorted out soon but it will still mean these few days are more stressful and disorganised than they would have been and I feel like I’ve been conned into paying for something I’m not getting…
Trying at the moment
My worry is, I don't see many developer responses to the many problems people are having.
It doesnt give me any confidence when they are ignored
Great calendar tool
This is a great calendar tool. I have used it for years. First the free one. Then carried on but apprentice companies like this can’t keep going without investment. To me it’s money well spent. I haven’t splashed on the desktop version but it looks great. On my phone more so not critical currently but might do as it’s clearer laid out on a big screen.
Someone help!
Trouble with syncing from iPad to iPhone. And there is no help available. And we pay a subscription. Really worried I lose the contents if I follow very unhelpful instructions. Good when it works but when it doesn’t it is dreadful!
Tech support completely useless
I lost over 10 years worth of informant data with a version update January 2024 and after nearly 2 weeks of emailing tech support backwards and forwards and repeatedly getting nowhere I had to give up as I still had no answers around data recovery.
Extremely disappointed with the complete lack of knowledge and advice I was expecting. Apart from a password reset they solved nothing! The user guide also lacks detail around many issues. Seriously think twice about downloading this app!
Issue with Search option
I have enjoyed using Informant for years. However, more recently the search option has been broken and not had success in getting this raised with support and a date when this will be resolved in a future update. This is a critical function for me and feel it should be being addressed as a high priority fix. Hopefully they will address this soon
IOS 17 causing issues with search bar
Since iOS 17 came out, the search bar in Informant (iPhone and ipad) has disappeared. Raised this with support but just got a standard “update is coming”. This was weeks ago - I would have thought a major function that no longer works should be addressed as a matter of urgency?

Items now locked behind a paywall
I had the paid version and now it seems that tasks and full access are now locked behind a paywall.
I subscribed since i was happy to support the developers and I use it every day, but the paywall padlocks are still all there :(
