Feels like a web frame

s_mcleod on

Feels like the app isn’t native - more like a web frame which gives it a sluggish feel. Crazy given how expensive it is.

More customisation

Victor766 on

Needs a few more customisation options such as having the “Mark all as read” button at the bottom of the page so I don’t have to click the tick icon on the top right corner or scrolling all the way back to the page. Feedly has this option which I miss.

Meh

iphonehighfivingfanboy on

Upon first impression, I’m a little underwhelmed. After clicking on an RSS feed in Safari, then being forced to create an account, then not finding the feed, clicking on it again, “subscribed” and still not finding the feed.. I’m a little lost. There is a bunch of stuff being displayed, like Top News, Tech & Trends, etc. but not the feed I subscribed to. Perhaps I’ll have to wait for a new post to be made before it will display -I’m new to RSS, but id have thought there’d be a button that says My Feeds or something, not just generic MSN style content.

Great

Great mate

Buggy and poor UX

Allenzeng on

It started off ok, but it didn’t take long for cracks to show, and there are so many cracks... It’s incredibly annoying to arrange feeds in app, and if I delete a folder, I risk another folder also being deleted. The gestures to mark as read/star don’t consistently work. It takes a long time to subscribe to a feed. There’s no syncing of settings between devices. This is after using it for less than a day!

Crashing

Lunecee on

Recently, is shutting down every time I try to view article list.

The built in browser is very annoying when looking at twitter and clearing the cache doesn’t work

Great new design

Roro-1988 on

Much better than the previous version. Wish they fixed the iPad version as well

Redesign is great

acsplinky on

The Inoreader service has always been great. Now the new version of the app justifies its use. Such a huge improvement means you don’t really need a 3rd party RSS reader anymore.

Perfect

Solid, great designed app. Dark mode is fantastic for reading at night.
