Inoreader Reviews

Serviceable free service

Gavin Moodie on

United Kingdom

Inoreader’s free service is serviceable. Importantly, it has also been stable for the several years I have been using it since Google unfortunately closed its better reader. I presume premium Inoreader is somewhat more convenient.

Waste of space

iKnicknappPaddyMac on

United Kingdom

Just ue it in the browser as it's quicker because the articles have to switch for reading. Needs to open unified within the app to be any good.

Can’t contact support

Snowglider on

United Kingdom

Says email not verified. No button to verify it! And nothing in the settings to verify it. Was trying to send a request first, before putting a poor review: Hello. When you mark as read, can you please not show the old read messages. I have to press mark as read, then pull down to refresh to get them to go away. Might need a new setting. Thank you. Update: They’ve made the change.

Perfect!

Preslav P on

United Kingdom

Great and clean, works like a charm! Much sleeker than Feedly. Thanks to all the Bulgarian devs that work on it!

Finally

n1kios on

United Kingdom

An RSS reader that does not invade your privacy, allows you adequate control over your content and serves no adds, or at least I haven’t seen any yet. After 2 weeks of use I can say this is a great app.

Formatting issues

NM001_1 on

United Kingdom

On my favourite blog, Inoreader has formatting issues and wordsget squished togetherlike this ☹️

Interface on iPad Pro needs work

BreadFruiter on

United Kingdom

UI elements look shrunken in slide over.

One of the best RSS readers around

SM Miah on

United Kingdom

One small gripe - the swipe gesture to show the side menu is a bit finicky! Sometimes the menu appears as expected, other times it swipes on an article instead and marks it as read! I think this needs to be fine-tuned a bit.

Super annoying

Missfroggy365 on

United Kingdom

The interface isn’t great but the most annoying thing is that my session is constantly being signed out. Like, I have to sign in every time I use the app??? That is not why people use apps. This would be fine if I could use my password manager but instead I’m supposed to go find my 32 random character password and type it in every time. Not happening. They also reduced the number of feeds you could subscribe to as a free user and now it shouts at me to upgrade all the time because I’m over the new limit (but not the old one). I’m migrating away from Inoreader because I’m not paying for something that’s annoying to use. Maybe if it was actually good I’d upgrade.

Password manager integration

Dinth on

United Kingdom

This is the first app I encountered where iOS built in password manager integration doesn’t work. Touch/gesture controls are overly sensitive making the app almost unusable. This has been tested on two different phones. “Mark all as read” button is located in the most inconvenient location possible.
