Asumio asking for more money
I paid for this system a while back $7 then it was version 5.3.44 not sure how long but now asking for more, if you buy this you know what will happen to you again.
Easy to use and seems to be reasonably accurate.
It allows you to monitor heart rate over time with life “events” to capture potential reasons for variances.
1 minute reading has not worked for a year??
I like this app, but for around a year or so (maybe more - covid time-shift?) the 1 minute study hasn’t worked on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. The flash light doesn’t come on, and the app just doesn’t recognise a finger on any lens. Please fix.
Deceptive
$2.99 gets you 5 heart rate checks. None of the other features are available until you pay an ongoing monthly or yearly subscription ($14.99/month)
Would recommend
Although not 100% accurate all the time it’s pretty close (have tested it against heart monitors in hospital and it’s usually within a few bpm either side). I have a heart condition and I do use it occasionally when I think I am having tachycardia (faster than normal heart rate) or bradycardia (slower than heart rate). Not that it can tell you these and tell you, but I like knowing so I can take action to rectify the issue.
Don’t update
Don’t update ANY app that simply says “bug fixes” or “crush fixes”. These bug fixes simply mean “more ads”. “Performance updates” is just as vague.
