Not working at all, no response from Pentair

This app was working great for about 4 weeks, now it is disconnected from our pool. I have sent 2 emails to customer service & have not had an answer so maybe they will respond to the review. It is frustrating that other reviewers have mentioned the exact same problem & Pentair has no solutions for this known issue publicly available. I am logged in but disconnected from the pool. It will not connect & is asking for an IP address & Pin. My pool builder doesn’t even have an answer to this. Please help Pentair!!! Please do not tell me to email your customer support, I’ve done it twice…check the emails & respond to that.

Never can log on

I’ve had this new app a few months. No matter what I try, I can never log on and the system never recognizes my username or passcode. So frustrating to use and can’t do anything without going over to the actual control panel. I have check and tried and rebooted several times.

Trying to control the SPA temperature with Apple Watch Ultra 1 , cannot increase temperature , just decrease, I was using screen logic before , it seems this app is not mature yet , not recommend to upgrade from screen logic controller

Pentair acts like they are interested in fixing issues

but after the initial contact they send because of these feedback pages you never hear back and things remain the same my biggest issues is both the web based and App do not show actual energized features at log on ( web shows all off yet will display the pump speed of an active pump) and the App verifies connection but won’t make changes and ultimately will tell you there is an issue and ask if you want to wait or log off , but that takes a while to show up so you think your changes are taking place , best to log off / log on every time

No way to reach support. Isn’t connecting. Asking for IP and passcode. Never asked that before

Reliability getting better and better with the upgrades over the last few years. Still need to close it and reopen for every single use. Sometimes it completely drops off line and can’t be controlled remotely. We like to heat the hot tub remotely when solar power is max and not to be able to do that is frustrating. Also I’m worried I won’t be able to turn off the hot tub heater remotely and will have to keep drawing electricity from the grid until I can get home and manually shut it off. Overall great app though!

I have a new system. One month old and have expensive buyer’s remorse. To operate the pool you are totally dependent on the app, which is terrible. Offline and inoperable constantly. When the app won’t work, neither will your pool or spa. And if you need customer support , it’s only available during their business hours. Don’t buy Pentair automation for your pool.

Still still have to force quit the app every time I reopen it

Can you guys please fix the app so when you reopen it from the background, it refreshes the information instead of just acting like the app functions, but then doesn’t until you force, quit and start over. I cannot be the only user that suffers from this terrible bug frustrates the heck out of me

Poor server uptime

Decent control app when the server is up but useless when it is down. We have a lot of home automation apps but this one by far has worst reliability with respect to server uptime. Support blames “wifi” strength but the controller is not 10 feet from the access point and no other service in our house is this poor. I wish I chose someone other than Pentair for our controller because they take no responsibility for their server uptime. Read other reviews if you do not believe me.
