Ivanti Email+ for iOS is a secure and containerized email client that allows you to easily and securely gain access to your organization's email on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. It synchronizes to your mobile device, email, contacts and calendar information using the ActiveSync protocol.
NOTE: Email+ requires Ivanti's Enterprise Mobility Management platform. Please consult with your organization's Mobile IT staff before downloading and using Email+.

Key Features :
Secure Email - Secured by the Ivanti AppConnect platform and provides AES-256 encryption, application level passcode, certificate based authentication and managed copy/paste functions. Based on admin control, users can receive notifications for Email and Calendar in real-time.
Work contacts - Global address lookup, mark contacts as VIPs and administrator configurable export to personal address book
Work calendar - Create/edit meetings, accept/decline invitations and highlight VIP calendar alerts
Work tasks - Create, edit, delete, view and sort tasks
Secure intranet access - Integrates with Ivanti Web@Work product to securely access intranet sites referenced in emails
Secure interoperability with AppConnect applications - Administrators can selectively allow interoperability with applications from a large number of Ivanti AppConnect partners to ensure that Email attachments can only be shared with secure applications.

Notification settings useless as the app does what it likes

I have emailed the app developer twice about the issue with no reply... Even if you turn off notifications in the app for specific items, like emails coming in and only want it to be for events, the app only works with the correct settings for about 24 hours, following which is starts giving you all the notifications again.

Needs dark mode

It’s pretty good, but needs dark mode.

A sure way to hamper your business

Email + & MobileIron are the antithesis of streamlined technology. The loss of productivity far outweighs the IP protection gains. Don’t do it to your people!

App force close after recent updates

I had no issues using this app in the past, but after last two updates it behaves erraticly. Takes longer to sync emails and doesn't happen in the background. On tapping an email, app force closed down and take me to home screen. Wierd!!

Drains battery

Company switched to this on company phone. Battery life prior was outstanding but now it’s appalling. Never install this on your personal device as BYOD solution if you care about the lifespan of your battery.

Only one email account could be added!

Typical enterprise IT crapfest

The native iOS Mail, Contacts and Calendar apps are so much better. Rather than mail, contacts, calendars being integrated into your device this app brings them all together into one containerised place so that it’s not integrated with anything else on your device. This is so your company’s IT department can have the full control they desperately need to validate themselves. Why reinvent the wheel and do so poorly is beyond me. It would have been a better approach to think about how MobileIron could support the native apps. Microsoft Outlook exists for iOS and is also a really stellar app, why a company wouldn’t use that as an Exchange client and use this instead also baffles me. Anyway at the very least can you update the UI to support iPhone X display. And can you also fix the incredibly annoying back and forth switching between Email+ and MobileIron Mobile@Work which seems to constantly break. The whole user experience is frustrating to say the least. Sigh

V2.0 massive improvement

I'm loving latest version. Content download issue resolved and performance is great. The new UI is long overdue, but hits the mark. Is Touch ID access coming?
