Good, but more realistic and fun pictures please!

Cet79 on

This app is very good. My kid likes it very much but I think the pictures are not attractive at all, compared to pictures on other kid's apps. Please change the pictures to more colourful, realistic and fun resemblances of the objects and animals they are supposed to be. Why do the letters of the words drop into haphazard angles and random positions, and not their upright and correct positions always? What is the lesson? Won't it help to teach the kids how to spell, if they dropped in their upright and correct order of spelling these word? At least, the letters should drop in upright positions, even if in random order, so that to further aid in spelling, the letters can be sent to the rotating wheel (and gotten rid of) ONLY in the correct order of spelling the word. Thanks for your audience.

Really cool

My son finally started using it! The app really shines at showing the proper order when writing letters and numbers

Awesome app!

Great app for anyone with a child learning to write letters and numbers. My son thinks tracing his letters on paper is boring but using the stylus pen and this app he loves

Excellent!

My 3.5 year old has been playing this game for a while and he loves it. He loves tracing the numbers and likes to repeat the spoken words. Great game to keep a kid entertained for a while.

Excellent!

As a kindergarten teacher, I love how kids can learn correct letter formation, and receive instant feedback. My 2 year old is also trying to use this app!

Fantastic for kids who need to write properly

dlforbes on

When I was a kindergarten we used to get children to practice printing by printing in sand or rice. Unfortunately it was messy and they had to be watched to ensure they were doing the letters correctly. What I LOVE about this app is that it forces the kids to write the lines correctly. It just squeeks if they do it wrong. In the paid version there are 3 levels and level 3 doesn't have numbers to follow. It has a lovely voice and the black hole that gobbles the letters is fun for the kids. It provides instant feedback in the form of clapping if they get it correct. I HIGHLY recommend this app for anyone with children learning how to print.

Very popular with all little kids

This app has proven to be enormously popular with any little kid who can get ahold of my iPhone or our iPad. We bought it to support literacy for our daughter who has disabilities, but it seems to be universally appealing and entertaining. Well done. And I LOVE the new voice for the app!!

Great!

This seems to be the only educational app that my son really likes! Great how it makes him start over if he goes off track.

Good App!

Make sure you have the volume set to be changed with the buttons in the general settings of the iPad to make sure you can control the volume of the app. This app works well. Simple, clean design. Recommended by friends for my daughter who was getting a few letters and numbers backwards. After using the app she has corrected herself and has had fun doing it. She had no idea she was learning.

great app

excellent graphics, well thought out. i just wish there was an option to hear the phonetic (sound) value of the letter, beside just the name.
