This app’s interface needs a complete overhaul. There really isn’t any excuse for the state it is in. The main graph on the dashboard is incredibly difficult to read and always well behind Dexcom data from Apple Health. 90% of the options in the app redirect the user to an external website. Please developer, just get a grip on this. This is a paid app, produce a product worth paying for. The predictions are also well off. I’ll give it more time.
I like jade. It’s a bit of an old looking interface but functionally it works for me. I’ve been using it for about 1 year. The main reason I use it is for dosing call as it calculates for insulin on board as well as normal carb to insulin dosing and target level adjustments. My diabetes nurse was impressed as well as my 6 monthly HbA1c came down from 7.5 to 6.6%. That’s about a 12% reduction and I am fairly confident this is down to jade. This is a massive improvement when you think about it. I have now adjusted my targets down from 13 mmol/l to just 8 and so far so good. It beeps at me earlier so I add top doses as necessary. So more improvements on the way I think. I use it with Dexcom and it integrates well. Support from jade has always been good the few times I used it. I have to admit there are a lot of features that I don’t use. I was surprised how few reviews there are for this great little app. It’s pretty unique I guess so sells itself. Thanks Jade!
I have used this for a week or so but don’t think it is working for me. Predictions are way off, it doesn’t seem to take exercise into consideration during exercise so it is not for me. I also find it far too fiddly when inputting data and it requires a lot of data. Not sure how others says it tells them how much your dose should be as you have to enter carb ratio yourself. Unfortunately I paid for 3 month advanced option but will not be using it.
I have had Type 1 diabetes for 20 years and this app is a complete life saver. It takes the stress out of working out dosing - all you have to do it enter your current sugar level and how many carbs you’re going to eat and it tells you how much insulin to take. Since using this app my sugar levels rarely go above 10mmol, it helps me manage hypos (as most diabetics know it’s easy to over indulge when you have a hypo!!). Thank you to the developers of this app for making it, you’ve changed my life!! 😊
Highly recommend this app for use in managing T1D and this update is really great. There's lots of small regular use features have been made easier to use and the UI contrast and performance have been substantially improved.
My teenage son just started using this app for bolus calculation whilst using the Freestyle Libre. We are really impressed and can't recommend it highly enough!
Each time I try to register, I receive an error message saying; "ALERT Invalid third_party_id"
Thought that the app could prove to be useful, so downloaded it, opened it and tried to sign up. Completed all fields, pressed sign up and got what I presume was an iPad generated alert message, which I had to ok. Wasn't sure if it was because I had used the password somewhere else, so changed the password to one that was unique. Tried to sign up again, this time got app generated message stating that the user already exists. Ok, back to start, went for login this time and used the first set of credentials. Now get the alert box when I press login, can't work out how to get passed this, .... Deleting
