-The app navigates you from your preferred point of departure to your destination.
-Search covers all modes of public transport (trains including JR and subway lines, airplanes, taxis, and ferries).
-Provides useful information such as the platform number, station lists, and timetables.
-Search directly from a zoomable interactive map of the Tokyo area.
-Allows you to save up to 50 recently searched routes. You can also see them while offline.
-The Japan Rail Pass mode will show the most efficient route for pass holders.

Doesn’t offer anything that the website already has - except ads. Sometimes shows delays when there aren’t any.

Greedy
I have been using this app for free for nearly 6 years and they just implemented subscriptions for what used to be free features of the app. Like the timetable and station list. Needless to say, I am very disappointed as I also see ads on the thing. I will delete the app from my phone.
It’s now a paid app
What are used to be one of the best hidden secrets is now an expensive. But paying ¥18,000 Year? That’s too much since this app is pretty much sponsored by the Japanese government. Or they give a lot of subsidies from the Japanese government. This is outrageous. It is one of the best apps you can use to get around. And since Japan’s train system is one of the most complicated you can get?! This was a savior. button is now I’d rather get lost and try to find my way in and pay 18,000 year for this over priced highly supplemented by the Japanese government app. It used to be so good thanks for the memories. But you’re not getting any money from me.
Hmm,..
Used to love this app. Often uses it whenever i go out and ride the train and bus…but now i need to have a premium one just to see the stops. I dont mind paying but i think the price is too much…
Useful
It was free before. This year they already have rhis subscription. You can still search for the route but you can't see anymore the detailed train stations along the way.
Nice features but
This used to be my favorite transit app for more than 5 years now but then they decided to ask for payment so no thank you but that gives you a 1 star
Fee
They started asking for an Overprice fee.
Not for Japan Or SOFA resident
I used to love this app and then one update they decided to change Free to Previewing each stop to Pay to Preview. The problem with this is that this feature doesn’t work for SOFA resident because we are technically not considered Zairyu resident and it is just one function barely even worth 100 yen per month for. I switched over to Japan Official Travel and they don’t charge for this feature yet. I hope they change this incredible mistake someday, otherwise in the next few checks by next year, I am finished with this app.
