Essential app when travelling through japan. Works flawlessly.
Great app, shame about advertising
Bought the 30 day pass for the app to help with transit around Japan, works efficiently but annoyed to see continued advertising after paying £14.99. Most paid / subscription based apps remove advertising.
Does not have all of the stations.
Absolute plop.
IOS 15 not working
This app was rated five stars before updating my phone to iOS 15 when the app crashed every time I tried to edit the date. Other than that: the app was excellent, and it helped me immensely on my travels through Japan in 2019. I could at have asked for a better travel companion. Everything made simple, rail passes included and can be filtered to prefer them, convenient for getting tickets for places and events.
Great app
Been indispensable for me but the latest Apple iOS update (13.5.1) seems to have broken it as crashing when trying to enter route details! Hopefully you can fix it soon.
Crap
Bloody rubbish, unable to get price for green car travel. Better to use Hyperdia or Voyagin Quick response from the developer and amendment made, impressive.
Very useful across Japan
I just used this app for subway and Shinkansen travel for walking and train travel across the southern part of Japan for 3 weeks and it was invaluable. In a country where I did not speak the language this made travel effortless (and possible!).
Indispensable app whilst travelling Japan
I downloaded this app just before my japan trip and used it to work out every journey whilst we were travelling. It never let me down and gave fantastic and up to date detailed information throughout- the best feature is to search for JR pass routes which saved us a lot of time and money. I highly recommend this app for anyone travelling to Japan. Thanks so much! Arigato!
Super easy travel app for Japan
Does everything (including giving you the taxi fare if you are stuck!) Easy to use, but check your destination name as each city often has multiple variations usually at the other end of Japan
