Description

1) Constantly nagging and arguing with your child?
2) Is your child not motivated to complete their daily tasks?
3) Does your child struggle to remember and stick to their daily routine?
If you answered "YES" to at least one of these, then Joon is exactly what you are looking for!
Recommended by Child Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Pediatricians, and Special Education Teachers, Joon is the future of motivating neurodivergent children. Using a child-friendly video game (for ages 6-12), Joon helps motivate your child to focus and stay on top of their daily routine, tasks, & habits.

**JOON’S GOAL**
Help motivate your child with ADHD, ASD, ODD, General Anxiety, or Depression to focus and complete their daily tasks while learning basic responsibility and independence. Not only does Joon make it extremely easy to motivate kids to do important tasks using a video game, but it also teaches them valuable life skills that they won’t be able to learn in school. We’ve helped over two hundred thousand families complete more than 1M+ tasks, so why can't we help you?

**HOW IT WORKS**
Assign tasks as "Quests", then the video game does the rest.
1) Create a few tasks that your child struggles with the most (such as brushing their teeth, getting ready for school, etc.)
2) Your child chooses a virtual pet (called a Doter) to feed, wash, and grow. In order to take care of their pet and play the Joon video game, they must first complete the tasks you've assigned them.
3) Once completed, you will get a notification to review and approve/reject your child's completed tasks. If approved, your child will receive coins to use to care for their pet and unlock different parts of the video game!
4) As your child completes more and more tasks, they will develop habits and improve their daily routine - all because they want to play a video game!

**THE PARENTING TOOL YOU NEED**
+ We make it easy to manage your child’s tasks and add in your existing routine.
+ We'll do the reminding to help your child stick to their routine. No more nagging from your end.
+ Your child will stay motivated to do the tasks assigned to them. In fact, 90% of kids on Joon complete all tasks assigned.
+ Choose from a large list of research-backed activities to help your child build important life skills that teach independence.
Joon is only a year old and already has the attention of press, parenting publications, and parenting experts. To see the complete list, visit our website here: https://joonapp.io

**HOW TO GET STARTED**
1) Install Joon on your device, create your family, and select a few beginning tasks you’d like your child to work on.
2) Help your child set up their account so they can see the tasks that you’ve assigned them. You can have them download Joon on their own device or share you phone.
3) Once your child completes their tasks, you can review and approve them to make sure they were completed correctly.
4) Once approved, your children receive coins and experience points that let them feed, level up, buy things, and progress in the game with their virtual pet. As your child continues to progress in the game, they actually progress in real life too!
5) Keep adding quests (and we’ll recommend you new ones too) to help your children develop good habits! Your children cannot grow on their own. Make sure to stay involved in the process and keep assigning new quests as needed to allow your children to continue helping, learning, growing, and progressing in the game.

Charged without reminder

I downloaded this app even though it’s almost $100 because it specifically said they’d send reminders about the free trial ending. And of course they didn’t. I should have known and set a reminder myself. Didn’t get a single app notification or a single email. My son likes this app just ok. It doesn’t hold his interests that long because there’s not too many things to do. He’s on his second egg, and after feeding etc there’s literally nothing else for him to do. So he don’t really see that much of a reward for completing quests. Also, why is this app so expensive? And why isn’t there an option to pay monthly? My guess is that this app is geared towards desperate parents who are at their wits end trying to help their child become functional adults. A week’s long trial meant for children with adhd or autism is not nearly long enough. Even if you got rid of the trial and just have an option for monthly payment that would be fine. But I just paid almost 100$ for an app that my child is already losing interest in after only a week. So. Fun times for me I guess.

It’s helped my daughter with ADHD feel more independent

Djziwb on

Having a child who struggles to keep a mental checklist, or even a physical checklist on her own, Joon has given her independence in completing daily tasks and she has quickly accumulated coins for her pet and some irl treats. Looking forward to learning more about the app and seeing how it can help keep the peace in our home.

Great for kids with ADD

Great is His works on

This is a great tool to use for kids with and without ADD, I have one of each. They are excited to complete their task to earn rewards. My child with ADD independently opens app and completes task without being asked. It is getting her on a schedule/routine and building confidence. I would recommend this app for all children no matter age. I honestly think it would help adults that have ADD as well. Just seeing your daily schedule in front of you and having a check list builds a routine and independence will follow.

A huge incentive for my daughter

My 5 yo daughter with SPD and suspected ASD struggles with completing basic daily tasks & this has been a fun and engaging way for us to journey through the to do list & incentivize daily with something she actually is motivated by. She told me tonight before bed that she wishes planet Joon was real!

Wish I downloaded sooner!

I have told all of my friends and family about this app, as well as my children’s teachers. Please give this app a try, you won’t be disappointed. I first discovered this app on an Instagram ad. I rarely ever download too many apps to my phone, but I have no regrets downloading this at all. My children get excited to do tasks, we communicate better without me nagging them (so much fun LOL), and with being able to customize the reward system best fit for your circumstances, you get family time together. I allowed my kids to write down some rewards they would like, and allow them to make that choice, and then it’s up to them to work for those rewards! You can add your own specific tasks and rewards. You can even throw some bonus “just because” coins their way on the very special days! Consistency is key, so make sure the app is being used daily 😊 I have never seen my daughters bed made so many days in a row until this app! 😂 Take it from me, at least see if for yourself!

Encourages a positive attitude

It changed the energy around doing chores, tasks and physical activity. I can ask the kids to do an unusual task and they immediately negotiate points to feed their pets! It’s working.
