Driver always has no coins.

First time experiencing riding a Joyride taxi

I paid more than I should as advised by the taxi driver (P419). He said I should paid the maximum amount, as it was the policy, even when I discuss to him that isn’t it supposed to be that it is only a range, thus, the taxi fare should be within the range but not fixed at the maximum amount? And he said it is not, I have to pay the maximum amount as reflected in the app. I asked him if Joyride is issuing receipt and he said, it’s not. So, I asked again if he could issue a receipt but he said, he cannot issue it as there is a problem with his receipt register (don’t know what problem is he trying to tell actually). Secondly, I also thought there was no receipt being given by Joyride. However, I received the exact amount (P344) that I should pay only when I got home based on the notice of Joyride, which came in late. So, I could no longer contest. Thirdly, my mode of payment was through eCash, however, the driver told me he is also having problems with his gcash number account, thus, I cannot pay through eCash payment. Hence, he told to pay via cash. I agreed since I was already inside his car and we are already moving. Anyway, I hope, Joyride could include credit card option as a payment so fares can be deducted automatically by the app.

Accuracy

The location during booking and on transit wasn’t accurate. You can’t really tell how far the driver is as well as the estimated time of arrival and the approximate travel time.
