You made me reconnect to my guitar in a way I never thought possible. Have encountered a couple of instructors and virtual classes however which did not inspire or motivate the least. Big thank you for simplifying the access to this magic portal of Music. You Rock 🎸
Justin makes every lesson fun and keeps you motivated , the lesson plans are well thought and easy to follow.
It’s billed as a free app, but after the first few lessons you can’t advance without signing up for a paid course. I like Justin’s style of teaching, but feel like I’ve been lied to. Looks like a bait and switch.
You must get this app it’s totally free but when you login there is a 7 day free trial all you need to do is if you don’t want it tap the X at the top right corner of the screen and you are good to go but anyways great app to learn Gutair you also have many different choices for the Gutair you have. Have Fun!😆😆😆😆😆
I’ll start by saying the app is very good for what it offers s and there has been a lot of work put in to build it. They have some n their website that is free to trial but the App Store charged me straight away. It only goes to intermediate and the more advanced app s not available. By getting access to the app, does not give you access to the contact in the website which is more comprehensive. It was a little deceptive saying free to trial on the website. If you are looking to trial on the app this is not possible as they will take your money and will not get a refund. Also if you sign up to the website you will not get access to the app. It would be nice to have both even if it’s a slightly higher cost. You need to get this sorted out so customers know where they stand with things and it’s not so confusing

This app is awesome. Justin is an amazing guitar teacher and I’m very grateful he has provided a cheap and effective way to learn guitar. My only issue is the chord detection feature on the app. I am an intermediate player, I have been playing for approximately 9 months. I purchased this app because I felt like I hit a wall and didn’t know how to proceed with learning. However, I decided to start from the beginners course just as a refresher. When it comes to doing the exercises, especially one where you need to switch chords quickly to be considered passing (It keeps count), the chord detection feature struggles to recognize my chords/strums. My guitar is properly tuned and the A, E, & D chords are the first I learned when I first picked up the guitar, so I know I am doing it properly. It can be a little bit frustrating. Other than that, great app! Thank you Justin!
Two months ago I didn’t know how to hold a guitar - Justin simply breaks down everything you need to know to begin your guitar journey!
I can’t see how good or bad the app is; the first screen requires creating an account and providing an email address or linking the account to an Apple or Google account. That should be optional. Let people use the app, even if it’s just with limited functionality, no play history, or for a short trial period. They can decide whether they want an account.
