Kaala is a web 3.0 payments app that allows you to instantly send and receive money both locally and internationally at near-zero rates; all you need to get started is a phone number! Near-zero fees on payments and money transfers: Kaala doesn’t charge any fixed fees on transactions, so you can send or receive funds from friends and family without breaking the bank (pun intended), for as little as 0.01 USD. That’s one big advantage of using stablecoins (Celo dollars or cUSD) to store value.
Easy onboarding with just your phone number: Since Kaala is built on the Celo blockchain, all you need to get started is a compatible mobile device and a phone number. When using the app, you never have to deal with long crypto wallet addresses.
