Keybase - Crypto for Everyone

After the update the other day, iphone 6 can’t open the app now.... You get kicked back to home screen every time trying to open the app & now broken the app after the update ...

Works great and is open source software that is well needed today. Hopefully it just gains more traction for the mainstream.

Instead of just having saltpack, please please please add GPG blob support so that ascii GPG encrypted files can be viewed!!

I was looking for an encrypted alternative to Slack however the ‘who to follow’ on the primary page presents nude profiles without consent. How am I meant to present this as an alternative to my company? The project seems to confuse and mix social media and private messaging.

If you try to add your device to your Keybase account, you will get an error saying that "provisioning failed because this device went offline." Though this is a lie because your device did not go offline, so don't waste any time trying to "fix" your network connection. Nor should you waste any time googling the error because the advice you find will either not apply to your care, or it won't work. In fact, do not waste any time at all: just don't install this app.

Well Keybase itself is great. Awesome for secure communication, no doubt. So if you hate using something from a company you don’t trust - Zuckegoogle I am looking at you - keybase is the way to go. Sadly their iPad implementation is a joke the screen has movie bars surrounding it and very bad resolution. M.

I am starting my journey into the big world of tech and web development. Learning programming languages, investing in crypto, and much more. Keybase has been an absolute life saver for someone who has an iPhone but still uses a PC computer. Most Apple products can airdrop stuff across devices. With keybase I can message myself from any device and keep up to date with my files. There is also public, private, and team cloud space to utilize so I don't even have to use a hard drive. How cool is that? So not only can you do that but you can encrypt, and decrypt files for sharing. Very nice stuff if you ask me. I love keybase and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have an easy file transfer system, safe and secure communication, or company/team work space for app usage.
