Kingdom Rush 5 FAQ
Is Kingdom Rush 5 free?
Kingdom Rush 5 is not free (it costs 149.99), however it doesn't contain in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Kingdom Rush 5 legit?
🤔 The Kingdom Rush 5 app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I’m a huge fan of the series. I’d rather play each game, repeatedly than play any other of the useless TD’s on the App Store.
That said, I have a few notes for the new Alliance TD:
- Game difficulty was a bit disappointing. Found even the Impossible levels to be easy.
- Lacking innovation- I felt like this new version was lacking new features, something we haven’t seen in previous versions.
- Would be great if they allowed you to unlock a few more heroes by completing challenging Achievements.
- A lot of the maps felt similar to old games- felt repetitive.
- Finished new map way too quickly, definitely a need for more options and longer game play.
- I personally enjoyed it when you could choose between two hero towers for your final upgrade.
- I know it’s small but you should be able to review the stats and details of your final tower upgrade.
- I’m sure it’s been considered but speeding up gameplay would be nice for the easier maps- especially for us veterans.
I’ve got heaps more to say about the game but overall the chaos have done a really great job with this game. I’m really happy that someone on the AppStore knows what they are doing 🙂↕️
I love it!!
Really fun, always a MUST buy with this amazing company.
Great if expsenive
You should definitely get the older ones, this is not as good as those. But it is a great addition to the line up Great graphics, gimmicks, and the newest campaign was great (and free). ##################################################### But guys, 2 things. The hoards are pretty plain, everything is like 5 enemies at a time. I miss the huge swarms like the past, all those zombies and skeleton maps. ##################################################### Secondly, this game’s additions are way too expensive. $30 for the rest of the characters? $25 for all the towers? I know that this is your business model but we did already shell out for the game itself. Seeing how Vengeance is charging $7 for new campaigns, more than the game itself, is really REALLY off putting. It’s one thing to charge for new content, everyone understands that, but it should be commensurate with the cost of the game itself. Come on guys, please.
Kool
Bring back Thor please cool character. It would be awesome if he have new skill thank.
Good but greedy
The desktop version: $19.99 for everything The mobile: $6.99 for the game, $14.99 for all towers, $19.99 for all heroes. New two heroes + one tower: Desktop: free Mobile: $13.99
Love it
Ironhide is a genius of TD.
Greedy
This is a money grab. Heroes cost $6.99 EACH.
The most boring
Super repetitive, baldurs gate type enemy, and enemies teleport or just cheese their way down the path. Not the biggest fan of the tower mechanic since vengeance and now I really hate it now that I’ve gone and replayed the first 3. New doesn’t mean better. Options don’t make them better. Paid DLC is fine. Paid towers that really aren’t good (necromancer) are not. Don’t buy.
The Best Tower Defend game forever
I’ve been playing Kingdom Rush since 2011, and I will always support KR series. I’d like to offer one suggestion that make it more diversity and multi-culture, for example, you could absorb some oriental elements, like Monkey King from China or Ninja from Japan as Heroes, or Indian style towers.
Good game but too much micro transactions
Over $25 of content locked after paying over $6 for game. Is this the new trend?
