Got an email today that my data has been breached from a testing server which has ‘mostly’ dummy and anonymised data on it. Why is my data on that server? I have no doubt that employees will be less careful with testing environments which is ‘mostly’ dummy data. Not good enough.
More people should use it!!
Great app, I use this to record expiry dates for food I’ve got stored in my emergency food box and bug out bags, that way I can make sure I rotate it out before it expires. Awesome app, thanks.
The app can be used to scan items in and out of your kitchen inventory and let’s you rename them so they order how you like naming them. It works well at tracking items but I have also submitted some fixes that they said they will work on, such as not accidentally creating a new item type if you scan from the master list rather than the inventory you have renamed. Very responsive to feedback and support requests.
Easy to control food inventory. I love being able to create more food places ( second fridge/freezer). Extensive food by barcode scan library (even for foods in Australia) plus easy to add items. I love the “expires by” feature, and ease of use, even when adding your own foods and taking photographs. Well worth buying the complete version.
I’ve been looking for an App to help me take stock/inventory of all the items in my pantry. KitchenPal has made this task really easy. Love the fact I can easily upload my pictures and update the nutritional values on the items and a KitchenPal will tell me if this is a healthy option. Once I have finished updating my pantry, this will help me to use the items that I already have on hand and keep the rotation going. Love this App. 🙂
I only have one complaint. If you have two or more packets of one product, you can only add one date but apart from that, this app is perfect. Thank you
Excellent app, very intuitive and helps keep food wastage down. Love how I can add my own categories too!
Just started using this app & bought the Premium Version. It’s very good & I love how the barcode scanner recognises so many Australian food items which is somewhat hard to come across so that’s great. I definitely have a few suggestions that’d make my rating a max star rating. 1). When updating the quantity of a item to anything more than 1, some options disappear & others merge, such as the amount you have left/used (so always appears you have whatever the multiples are, all unused/unopened till you completely use enough to lower the quantity back to 1 again). Would be very helpful to be able to select if just 1 (or more) of your quantity has been opened/partially used & how much of each ect…. Also, you only get 1 Expiry Date input per item, even if you have multiple of the same thing. Would be extremely helpful to be able to list separate Expiry Dates or BB dates for each of your quantities, as I often have multiples of the same food item with different Expiry Dates so would be very good to be able to see which one is due to expire 1st so I can use them up accordingly & that’d automatically make receiving expiration notifications much better too cause if we were able to add different expiration dates for the multiples of the same item, notifications would automatically let us know “1 of your 5x bags of spiral pasta is about to expire” rather than it indicating “all of your 5x bags of spiral pasta are about to expire”. 2). Would love the ability to choose between “Best Before Date” & “Expiration Dates” on each item, as they’re not the same thing & I already find myself adding a little note in many of my listings to tell myself the date I listed is actually a BB date & not an expiration date which can get tedious & time consuming. 3). Would love to be able to add some additional info about purchases too. Such as particular stores we purchased things from auto saving into a drop-down menu so when we add items, there’s a personalised drop-down bar with the stores you’ve bought products from before, rather than having to type the stores in manually for every listing. Would also love to have a box we can tick to say wether or not we bought a item on sale so we know at a glance wether the price we paid is the usual full price or not, or how much we can expect to save on average if we wait for the store’s sale price again ect. Would be great to also see those things amended to work with the above suggestion relating to quantities too, if that comes abo
